TeNt The building was constructed in 1910 on Friedrichstrasse and opened in 1911 as an ice palace under the name. With its ice arena and spectacular ice ballet, it became one of s most popular amusement sites. In the beginning of the 1920s, it was turned into a revue theater, and, during the Nazi period, an increasing number of operettas were presented. Since its spectacular reopening in 2006, the venue, with its rich tradition and historically significant location in the heart of, has once again become one of the leading cultural hot spots of the nation s capital. A place that makes a respectful bow to history and offers a meaningful home to every type of event. A finely balanced interplay of both the historical and the modern was achieved in the extraordinary building complex. Whether in its glamorous Grand Hall with its 1,733 seats and its elegant foyers or in the Studio and 101 theaters is an event location that can host up to 2,300 guests. The Historical Inner Courtyard The historical building s inner courtyard provides access to the various venues. There are no limits to the variety of its uses. The inner courtyard can serve as a festive red carpet zone for premiers or a venue for award presentation ceremonies. It is also possible to stage a public viewing here in the middle of and yet in an intimate atmosphere. A mobile bar is available for snacks and beverages. Foyers and Bars An impressive open stairway leads the guests to their seats and the historic-looking foyers on both balconies. The foyer bars offer an inviting place for conversation and refreshments before and during the performances. The foyers offer an ideal venue for both receptions and post-show events.

Bremen TeNt s Majestic Auditorium, the Grand Hall The Grand Hall, with its two balconies, its 450 square meter stage, and its massive chandelier, are the heart of the. The Grand Hall is noteworthy for its versatility. Every form of event is conceivable there, from theater productions, symphony concerts, and gala events to award ceremonies, receptions, balls, and special events. The parquet seating, mounted on air bearings, can disappear under the balcony, creating space for individual seating arrangements. The Studio is a medium-sized theater and performance hall. Equipped with a height-adjustable platform stage, the room can be converted from a theater to a seatless hall with standing room for up to 700 people. Behind the theater s glass facade is one of Germany s most captivatingly elegant, modern theaters. The Foyer and the Auditorium The brightly-lit foyer extends out over a total of three levels. One of Germany s largest stairways leads first from the cloakroom area to the parquet level with its spacious bar. A wide variety of seating arrangements provides options for an individual setup of the foyer. A second stairway continues from there to the upper balconies and loges. 19 Bremen entrance Patio Winter Garden Mehr! TeNt is the largest theater in the capital of the German state of North Rhine- Westphalia. In the early 1990s, a 100-year-old, former streetcar depot was converted into a musical theater that was inaugurated with the glittering premier of the musical Grease. Its typical late 19th century industrial brick architecture gives the theater a charm all its own, making it one of the most beautiful musical theaters in Germany. The popular theater with its central location has become a permanent fixture of s cultural life. The renowned stage for musicals and live entertainment has developed into a favorite meeting place for the folks from the world of the arts, culture, and business. The successful blending of the original industrial facade and modern counters imbue the space with an atmosphere that is at once both unpretentious and elegant. Entertainment is building a theater for top quality live entertainment in the landmarked Grossmarkt (wholesale market hall). Construction work begins in summer 2013 and will be completed at the end of The Grossmarkt, a typical bit of, will have a new cultural site, and a wider audience will be able to experience the market because of its evening opening hours. The Grossmarkt, completed in 1962 under the supervision of architect Bernhard Hermkes, set new standards with its futuristic glass and concrete architecture and is today under heritage protection as one of the last examples of prestressed concrete construction in. The unobstructed view of the eight centimeter thick shell of the concrete arches and especially of the enormously high ceiling is particularly impressive. The visitor senses this height throughout the whole theater. The highest point towers 20 meters above the theater seats. The theater s imposing auditorium, the foyer, and the bars are spaciously and openly designed. The purist architecture dispenses with distracting dividing walls and suspended ceilings. This spectacular ambience will also be available in the future to companies for major events with that certain something. Smaller events, as well, such as presentations, readings, or anniversaries, can be stylishly staged. The auditorium, the foyer, and two separate rooms offer a variety of possible uses. Not just the architecture of the theater itself is impressive but also the ample size of the forecourt, direct on the water s edge with a sweeping view of s Speicherstadt (warehouse district) and harbor. To supplement the colorful activities of its many dealers, a special kind of new event location is being created. The Grossmarkt has an excellent infrastructure and is centrally located in the cultural belt encircling s city center. In the future, the market will mark the eastern endpoint of Speicherstadt Boulevard, which will afford bicyclists and pedestrians a fabulous view of Hafen-City, Speicherstadt, and, finally, of the grounds of the Grossmarkt itself. The building, because of its extraordinary glass and concrete construction and its prominent location directly on the Rhine River promenade, is an architectural highlight of Cologne s skyline. With its 1,640 seats, the theater in the heart of Cologne is the largest in the city. Upon entering the expansive and impressive foyer, the visitor is immediately greeted by a striking fusion of glass and steel radiating timeless modernity. Within a very short time, the was able to establish itself as a permanent fixture in Cologne s cultural life. That is reflected not least of all by the fact that the Cologne Opera has temporarily relocated to it during the renovation of the opera house. The Restaurant The Restaurant, located on the ground floor, seats 80 and offers culinary highlights from finger food to multi-course dinners. The kitchen has the capacity to prepare buffets for up to 1,600 people for conventions, award ceremonies, or wholehouse events. The Auditorium The auditorium seats 1,640 and its semi-circular design with its gently ascending tiers and comfortable, offset seating allows an unobstructed view from all sides of the 250 square meter main stage. THEATER TENT on Tour For the first time in Europe, the cult musical CATS is being staged in a theater tent especially conceived for the show. The 25 meter high tent has a circumference of 60 meters, presenting itself as an impressive and original event location. The foyer tent and the auditorium with its 270-degree circular stage are bathed in mood-setting light by thousands of spotlights and light bulbs. They are both suitable for glamorous events as well as company presentations. The roomy foyer tent is 16 meters high and its some 1,000 square meters provide the perfect setting for events of any kind. The three large bar areas are an inviting space for spending time and relaxing. A flying buffet or classic buffet can be ordered to provide a tasteful note to any event. With a variety of alternative seating arrangements, the foyer offers flexibility in hosting lectures and events of every kind. The Auditorium The auditorium, with a total of 1,731 seats, is entered by five different sets of stairs leading from the foyer. The round stage is three-fourths encircled by the tiers of audience seats; no seat is further than 20 meters away from the edge of the stage. A wide range of lighting moods is provided by 450 spotlights. This fantastic setting is suitable for conferences, conventions, or presentations, as well as for distinctive award ceremonies. Besides the two spacious main tents, the impressive complex also includes a series of office rooms, guest lounges, and cloakrooms, as well as several food storage rooms. Its layout resembles a small village, making it the perfect location for an unforgettable event.
