Beginner riders will savour a taste of all these things as routes are offered for all abilities. There s a new sight around every corner accompanied by stories from an informative guide and lots of opportunities to enjoy the beautiful Highland Perthshire scenery and to spot native wildlife. Experienced riders will enjoy a challenging trek up into the heather-covered hills, travel along forestry tracks and undertake a river crossing. Two-hour experienced hacks and one-hour beginner treks available. Treks depart at 10.00am and 2.00pm. Two hours: 45 per person. One hour: 30 per person. Riders must be aged 12 or over and under 14 stone. Day rides are also available throughout the season for more experienced and confident riders. Journey North take their variety of musical backgrounds and influences from rock and blues to world class pipe bands and mix them with the instruments and storytelling traditions of Scottish music. The result is a sound and style which, while paying deference to their influences, is definitely their own. In their time together they have released two albums and have just started recording new songs which have been going down very well at their live shows over the last few months. It s all about playing live, and sharing their songs with audiences is all they want to do! Iain is considered by those who know of him as one of the UK s finest virtuoso guitarists and is often described as a world class guitarist. Iain Forbes is one of the best guitarists to come out of Scotland in a very long time Tom Russell / World renowned Rock DJ. Iain plays many styles such as blues, jazz, classical and folk styles on an acoustic guitar. To hear him playing an electric guitar with soaring lead solos will have any Jimi Hendrix, Santana or rock aficionado shouting for more! Iain s most recent accolade was playing guitar for Steve Norman of Spandau Ballet and Vineyard at a Charity Concert in Lytham, St Annes. They played tribute to Spandau Ballet with a set of their hits and the evening was topped with comedy by Cannon and Ball.
