2 Welcome to the nonprofit Princeton Garden Theatre The Garden Theatre is a nonprofit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization. A D M I S S I O N General...$11.50 Members...$6.75 Seniors (62+) & University Staff...$9.00 Students...$8.00 Matinees Mon, Tues, Thurs & Fri before 4:30 Sat & Sun before 2:30...$9.00 Wed Early Matinee before 2:30...$8.00 Affiliated Theater Members*...$6.75 You must present your membership card to obtain membership discounts. The above ticket prices are subject to change. THANK YOU MEMBERS! Your membership is the foundation of the theater s success. Without your membership support, we would not exist. Thank you for being a member. Contact us with your feedback or questions at x115 or us at comments@renewtheaters.org Why the ticket price increase? Because our film distributors require it. Each movie we screen is supplied by a film distributor. They charge us about half of the ticket price. However, our prices have been so low that they have been adding a surcharge to our rental fees. We first announced this anticipated change almost a year ago. We delayed the change as long as we could, but it is finally time to implement it. *Affiliated Theater Members All members of our theater are entitled to members tickets at all Renew Theaters (Ambler, County, Garden, and Hiway), as well as at participating Art House Theaters nationwide. For more information, visit our website. Give us your feedback. Your film experience is the most important thing to us, so we welcome your feedback. Please let us know what we can do better. 3 MAIN ATTRACTIONS Main Attractions What main films will play at the Garden? This section lists the Main Attractions that we intend to play in the coming weeks. Additional unlisted films will also become available. This list is only an educated guess, though, since film release plans often change. When will these main films play? Scheduling our Main Attractions is weekto-week. On Monday, we decide what main films will play starting that Friday. On Tuesday and Wednesday, we set the showtimes for the upcoming week and then update our website and telephone hotline. We also send out a weekly (which you can receive by signing up at our website). Sometimes, we book a main film a few weeks in advance, which we post on our website s Coming Attractions section. For our latest Main Attractions plans, visit: PrincetonGardenTheatre.org (Or call our hotline at ) Phantom Thread The Shape of Water USA - Guillermo del Toro - 1 hr 59 min This otherworldly fairytale from Guillermo del Toro encapsulates his fascination with classic movies. At the height of the Cold War, circa 1962, two workers in a high tech US government laboratory discover a terrifying secret experiment involving a mysterious creature. Featuring a fantastic cast including Sally Hawkins, Octavia Spencer, Doug Jones, Michael Stuhlbarg, Richard Jenkins, and Michael Shannon. Darkest Hour UK - Joe Wright - 2 hr 5 min Gary Oldman steps into the imposing persona of Winston Churchill in this period drama from director Joe Wright. It s a stirring historical drama that ushers us into the back rooms and bunkers of British government at a pivotal time when the United Kingdom seemed on the brink of Nazi invasion and Churchill was thrust into the role of Prime Minister. Also starring Kristin Scott Thomas, Ben Mendelsohn, and Lily James. Phantom Thread USA - Paul Thomas Anderson Paul Thomas Anderson teams up again with Daniel Day-Lewis, in what has been announced as Day-Lewis final role. A renowned dressmaker rules the British fashion scene in glamorous 1950 s post-war London. Meticulously directed and flawlessly acted, the film is a portrait both of an artist on a creative journey and of the women who keep his world running.

4 MAIN ATTRACTIONS The Shape of Water A Fantastic Woman Chile - Sebastián Lelio - 1 hr 44 min w/subtitles Chilean director Sebastián Lelio s new drama centers on a young transgender woman struggling with her own grief and societal prejudice after the death of her middle-aged lover. This is an incisive character study about a woman coming to terms with her changing life. Featuring a nuanced, emotional performance by Daniela Vega. Loveless Russia - Andrey Zvyagintsev - 2hr 7 min w/subtitles The latest from Leviathan director Andrey Zvyagintsev profiles a family torn apart by a vicious divorce. The parents are more interested in starting their lives over than tending to their 12-year-old son. The film illuminates the battles in Russian society today between old and new beliefs, public and private institutions, post-soviet infrastructures and nouveau riche establishments. A masterful drama. Molly s Game USA - Aaron Sorkin - 2 hr 20 min Aaron Sorkin s directorial debut stars Jessica Chastain and Idris Elba in the story of Molly Bloom, proprietor of Hollywood s most exclusive high-stakes poker game. Sharp and witty writing and Sorkin s bold and precise direction are the perfect match for his larger-than-life heroine. P RINCETONG ARDENT HEATRE.ORG

5 MAIN ATTRACTIONS I, Tonya USA - Craig Gillespie - 1 hr 59 min Margot Robbie stars as controversial Olympic figure skater Tonya Harding in this alternately tragic and hilarious look at one of the biggest scandals in US sports history. A shamelessly entertaining film that is part mockumentary and part tragicomedy. With an unforgettable turn from Allison Janney as Tonya s mother. Also starring Bobby Cannavale and Sebastian Stan. Lady Bird The Square Sweden - Ruben Östlund - 2 hr 22 min in Swedish w/subtitles and in English Swedish director Ruben Ostlund returns with another biting, satirical drama. Set in the world of contemporary art, Christian, a museum curator, sets up a new installation called The Square which invites its spectators to practice altruism. The art world is soon spun into chaos. With a hilarious script and brilliant filmmaking, THE SQUARE won the Palme d Or at this year s Cannes Film Festival. Call Me By Your Name Italy - Luca Guadagnino - 2 hr 12 min This beautifully made film explores the tender, tentative relationship that blooms during the summer of 1983 between a 17-year-old boy and his father s research assistant. James Ivory s script sets the narrative in the sunkissed landscape of Lombardy, Northern Italy. Timothée Chalamet and Armie Hammer star. Lady Bird USA - Greta Gerwig - 1 hr 33 min Greta Gerwig makes her directorial debut with this coming-of-age comedydrama. Saoirse Ronan stars as a misfit high school senior whose plans for the future are in conflict with the ideas of her parents. A sweet, charming movie that captures the pain and joy of growing up with honesty and humor. With an excellent performance by Laurie Metcalf as Lady Bird s mother. P RINCETONG ARDENT HEATRE.ORG
