3 Absorption Scheme: Eligibility Criteria Paper Pattern Theory paper will be comprised of total 5 questions with one option, i. e. there will be 10 questions with equal marks. In case of short notes, there will be equal distribution of marks. Question paper will essentially contain questions from each unit. Passing Persentage: 3
4 M. A. INDIAN MUSIC Examination (Classical Vocal and Instrumental) (One practical period of 60 minutes in Music shall be counted equivalent to one lecture period.) Candidates offering instrumental music shall choose any one of the following instruments: 7. a) Sitar b) Sarod c) Violin d) Flute e) Dilruba f) Harmonium 4
5 There shall be two papers of theory, Practical Test (Viva) and Mazlis performance of one hour for each Semester examination. Marking Pattern for all Semesters: Practical Test (Viva) marks Mazlis Performance marks Theory Paper I marks Theory Paper II marks Total marks M. A. Indian Music will be comprised of 4 Semesters, and maximum marks for each Semester will be 400, hence total marks for the entire course will be
