3 CTDIA02 SELF-SHARPENING SAW TIP 3 The exhibition highlight: CTDIA02 CERATIZIT is presenting the new saw tip CTDIA02 as a completely new concept in the market. With an innovative layer structure CTDIA02 guarantees a consistent edge radius during the entire sawing operation. Thanks to the self-sharpening tip, the cutting edge remains constantly sharp. In case of an MDF particle board CTDIA02 cuts 250 kilometres surpassing the performance of conventional saw tips by a multiple. In addition, the PCD coating of CTDIA02 is protected against edge chipping. Thus the excellent surface quality of the work piece is also guaranteed when the cutting distance increases. 5 SERIES NEW SAW TIP DESIGN 5 Saw tip series the new saw tip geometry from CERATIZIT On the occasion of Ligna CERATIZIT is presenting the new saw tip series The most characteristic feature is the radius on the lower side of the tip which replaces the previous angle. As a result of this modification, the necessary heat is conducted faster to the back of the tip which subsequently allows quicker brazing of the saw tip. Another positive effect of this tip geometry is that, thanks to the reduced brazing time, a homogeneous structure of the carbide with the basis is created. Conserving resources In terms of new developments CERATIZIT always strives for resource-conserving products. In this context too series stands out. Due to the modified shape, the weight of the tip has been notably reduced. The new saw tip series can be applied directly in your production department. 9 STROBE BLANKS PRE-TINNED 9 Strobe blanks pre-tinned Customer requirements are clear: they need brazed strobe blanks. CERATIZIT already offers strobe blanks in the recently developed grade CTOPP10. From now on brazed strobe blanks will also be available in this grade and will replace the former grades HC20 and CTM14Y. Major time saving Using these strobe blanks, operators save considerable time as they can be brazed directly onto the saw blade.
