5 Programming and operation of the control 1. Control unit-easy After all components have been connected - air (min. 6 bar), power ( /50-60 V-AC/Hz) and the control-air tube DN6 (maximum 4 metres) - the main switch on the right-hand side can be switched on. After that, the bottom display screen appears. Sampler 1 switch on sampler: stop and go Sampler 2 switch on (Option) Change between opening or clock time Input quit Timer up or down CIP: stop and go For each sampler, the control has got a main menu in which all important control data are set. With the key S+ or S- for the respective samplers, the control changes the main menu of the selected sampler. Both menus are identical. In case of a single control the key for the second sampler cannot be utilized. After actuation of the S- key the following display appears. Page 05

6 Programming and operation of the control 2. Programming of the times The first line shows the sampler that has been selected and the switching state which it has. (closed or open) In the second line the cycle time, i.e. the clock-pulse time between the individual samples, is entered in minutes and seconds. (e.g.: 00:01 means 1 second) In the third line the opening time of the sampler in milliseconds is indicated. ( e.g.: means 1 second and 5/1000 seconds) Recommendable setting starts as from ms. Upon actuation of the < key you get to the last position of the second line. The position flashes and with the key Time+ the value is increased in steps of one and with the key Time- this value is reduced. With the arrow key < / > you change the positions in the line and you can change them accordingly with the keys Time+ and Time -. With the OK key the entered value is stored. After the OK key has been pressed, you can change to the last position in the third line by means of the > key. Handling in this line is identical with that of the second line. All positions change in steps of one, except for the last one which changes in steps of five. Page 06

7 Programming and operation of the control 3. Start and stop the sampler After the times have been stored, sampling can be started. To do this only the Auto key has to be actuated. When actuating the same key once again the sampling is stopped. After the start, autom. Running is flashing in the fourth line in order to signalize the switching state. In the first line closed changes into open for that time each which has been programmed. Display switching state in real time Flashing switching state Start and stop button for sampler running In case of a double control you can switch over during the automatic phase without any problem in order to carry out the same or similar processes for the second sampler. 8 Programming and operation of the control 4. Cleaning CIP-position Upon actuation of the CIP key the sampler is set to unlimited opening. As a rule this position is used for the CIP cleaning. However, this key can also be used for Hand sampling or for bringing out the rest of cleaning fluid. The CIP key opens the sampler and closes it again when being pressed once again. Display switching state in real time Flashing switching state Start and stop button for CIP In case of a double control you can switch over during the CIP phase without any problem in order to carry out the same or similar processes for the second sampler. The respective sampler can be switched over from the CIP position into the automatic position without any problem. This is possible vice versa via auto stop only (safety reasons). Page 08

9 Fault corretion Fault:: Display is dark Elimination: - plug in power cable - switch on the main switch - check fuses in the switch case exchange, if necessary -1F1 or -1F2 All other faults are unrecoverable and have to be clarified with the manufacturer. Page 09

10 Wiring diagram The control as of September 2012 is in series possibly for an external drive with V-AC 240/120. To realize this, you have only to remove the connection between clamp 6 and 3 and connect the external switches after the wiring diagram.
