8 the logo / clear space A designated amount of clear space must be maintained on all sides of the Cellcontrol signature. The minimum clear space required is 75% of the height of the roundel as it appears in the Cellcontrol signature. This safe area surrounds the signature on all sides, as is shown in the diagram below. No elements such as typography, other logos, graphics or photos may intrude upon this safe area.

9 the logo / the roundel THE CELLCONTROL ROUNDEL may be used as a stand-only graphic element. It is made up of two concentric C s, a forward facing arrow, and a central diamond. The regular spacing and shape of the roundel is based off of a 45 angle. The 45 angle is used as anchor for much of the Cellcontrol brand and artwork. 45 ANGLE

10 the logo / logo variations When space is limited, the HORIZONTAL VERSION of the logo can be used. In some cases, the space for a logo is very small, the SMALL TYPE-ONLY VERSION should be used. 13 color / core and supporting palette WHENEVER POSSIBLE, the full color palette should be used to best communicate the CellControl brand. WHEN COLOR CHOICES ARE LIMITED, or when print processes restrict the amount of available colors, the two core colors may be used. THE SUPPORTING COLOR PALETTE is used to give depth and interest to the primary color palette. It should be used alongside the primary colors and not as stand-alone colors. These characteristics speak to the brand itself, not just the products or services of the company. Cellcontrol is built on simplicity, focus, and precision. 24 brand language / editorial voice OUR VOICE is the tone and words that are used in CellControl communications. This goes all the way from a billboard to answering a phone. We should reiterate the character of CellControl. To communicate simplicity, focus, and precision our words should be: simplicity focus precision Basic, to-the-point, At every touchpoint, keep the reason for the communication at the forefront. Speak in a calm, simple, matter of fact way. People Focused Speak to the audience as if they are a friend; as if they are right next to you. Helping people to focus requires that you understand them and where they are coming from. Experts Always speak as an expert who is speaking to an educated customer. Without getting technical, you must highlight precision and reliability.

An additional.125" should be added as a bleed. The PRODUCT DOG-EAR should be used to brand the mass product line. The Cellcontrol roundel is all white on a dark blue background.
