1 Members present: HARNETT/JOHNSTON COUNTY UTILITY COORDINATION COMMITTEE Minutes of August 16, 2016 Meeting held at Holts Lake BBQ & Seafood 3506 US Hwy 301 S, Smithfield, NC Jeff Bartley Andrew Smith Kacey Johnson Michael McLean Mike Hall David Doyle Marie Godfrey Alan Roberts NC811 SREMC SREMC Lee Electrical S & N Communications S & N Communications S & N Communications AROD Underground/Vermeer Mid-Atlantic Projects: SREMC Distribution services, Anderson Creek Golf Subdivision. Lee Electrical Maintenance only. Discussion Jeff Bartley presented the NC811 report. Locate requests for Harnett County were up 7.4 % from last year and in Johnston County they were up 2.8 %. Overall locate requests year to date were up 25.3% from Lillington had the most locate requests in Harnett County and Clayton had the most in Johnston County % of all submittals were done by Remote Ticket Entry in July. The last deadline, which is for smaller companies, to join NC811 in 10/1/16. The 3 rd quarter 811 Board Meeting will be at Harrah s in Cherokee on 10/21/16. The next State UCC meeting will be held on September 13 th at Dominion NC Power in Roanoke Rapids. The full NC811 report is attached to these minutes. S & N Locating joined us today, they are locating for A T & T. Andrew Smith adjourned the meeting and thanked everyone in attendance.
