Compass Club We are also re-launching the Compass Club an audience membership scheme where supporters of the venue can gain benefits and discounts, while helping to raise funds for the Compass Theatre and Ickenham Hall. Full details online at Hillingdon Theatres is planning an anniversary production of Hans, The Witch and the Gobbin by Alan Cullen. This is a fantasy play, which will be performed by adults for an audience of children, and was the first show ever performed at the Compass Theatre in Production week will start on Monday 9 July, with two performances on Saturday 14 July. To do this, we will need a director, stage manager and actors, plus help with simple scenery, makeup and wardrobe. 3 NEW Manor Farm audio guide launch day Monday 2 April, midday to 4pm This Easter, we re launching a brand-new free audio guide for Manor Farm. Join us for a fun, family-friendly interactive afternoon of activities, with an egg hunt and sack races in the orchard, plus craft and poetry-writing workshops in the Great Barn. The new 40-minute audio guide allows visitors to experience the highlights of Manor Farm, which has been at the heart of Ruislip for more than 1,000 years. Cost: Free Full details to follow online at Proscenium presents Not About Heroes Wednesday 27 to Saturday 30 June at 7.45pm To commemorate the centenary of the end of the First World War, Proscenium proudly presents Stephen MacDonald s Not About Heroes. Told through letters and poetry, this is the story of the chance meeting and subsequent relationship between two of the finest Great War poets at Craiglockhart Hospital in 1917: Wilfred Owen and Siegfried Sassoon. Cost: 14 Book: Hillingdon Council and DK produktions present Aladdin: Relaxed performance Friday 14 December at 4pm For the first time at the Compass Theatre, the annual pantomime will include a relaxed performance, where the house lights are left on, sound levels are lowered, and flashing and pyrotechnic effects are not used. We hope this provides an opportunity to welcome those with learning or communication difficulties or those with an autism spectrum condition, who may have felt unable to attend in the past.
