McGravie In a cabin in Scotland at the end of World War II, seven women face returning to "civvy" life once the war is over. (drama) May 15 - June 7, Bloody Murder by Ed Sala All of the stock characters in British murder mysteries rebel against their author...to hilarious effect. (comedy) October 24 - November 16, 2013 Out of Sterno by Deborah Zoe Laufer Dotty's life is perfect! In the seven years she's been married, she has never left her apartment... but then she receives a mysterious phone call and her life is changed forever. (comedy) February 6 - March 1, 2014 One Day Only 23 Our twenty-third signature 24-hour play festival, featuring 7 World Premieres! March 22, 2014, Courtyard Theater ranging from Shakespeare to Woody Allen, as well as three summer programs of elocution for children. Theatre organizations she has worked with include McKinney Repertory Theatre, Pocket Sandwich Theatre, Rover Dramawerks, and Theatre Britain. In addition, Yvonne does private tutoring and audition preparation, with special emphasis on vocal projection and precision in various English dialects. Chris Dover is pleased to be making his debut with Rover Dramawerks. He previously has acted in Dallas area productions at Theatre Three, ICT, Uptown Players, Pocket Sandwich and others. Before moving to Dallas, he worked in LA with the Groundlings, and was seen at the Improv, Bang Theatre, and HBO Workspace as part of many sketch comedy shows and appeared in commercials and episodic television. Chris graduated from New York's prestigious American Academy of Dramatic Arts before becoming a founding member of the Soho based theatre company, The 11th Hour Collective. He would like to thank Ashley and Rover Dramawerks for letting him be a part of this hilarious show. Ryan Glen is enjoying new friends from his Rover debut' Recent credits: A Midsummer Night's Dream (Peter Quince), Twelfth Night (Sir Andrew Aguecheek); Henry 6, pts I, II & 1/1, Readings (Somerset, Clifford); Othello, Reading (Roderigo); Taming of the Shrew, Reading (Curtis, Various); Cymbeline (Soldier, Soothsayer, Eagle) with Shakespeare Dallas, The Importance of Being Eamest (Algernon) with Wingspan Theatre Co., and OliverI (Male Chorus, Various) at Lyric Stage. Ryan holds a BFA from the SMU Meadows School of the Arts. Eddy Herring is excited to be making his second appearance with Rover Dramawerks. Prior to being cast as the Sergeant, he was last seen as Bobby Dwayne Dillahunt in RTC's production of The Hallelujah Girls. Other recent theatrical credits include Lend Me a Tenor (MRT), Something's Afoot (Rover Dramawerks), And Then There Were None (MRT), and Oklahoma! FUMC Allen). Eddy is a member of the Allen Philharmonic Symphony Chorus, the D'Jazzters Vocal Ensemble, and is represented by Core Talent. He is thrilled to share the stage with this extremely talented cast, and would like to thank director, Ashley White, for choosing him be part of this wonderfully funny show. And to his friends and family, thanks for all the love and support. Lindsey Humphries is excited to be costuming for Rover again, having designed costumes for Love in E Flat. She's also done props for Rover's production of Wonder of the World and, at Pocket Sandwich Theater: The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940, The Curse of The Mummy, and Road To Shervvood. She's excited to announce that she'll be directing Rover's next production, Bloody Murden "Thank you Ashley for such a fun show l " Ivan Jones is awesomely stoked to be in his first Rover Dramawerks production l Originally an Ohio native, he has been in Dallas for 11 years. He has a degree in theater and musical theater from KD Studio. He has worked at many theaters in the area. Some of his favorite roles include: Mufaro in Mufaro's Beautiful Daughters, Dallas Children's Theater National Tour, Puck in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Frankenfurter in Rocky Horror Show KD Studio, Governess Amplebottom in Babes in the Woods, Puss in Puss in Boots (actual British pantos), Theater Britain, Lucifer in Lucifer Descending, MBS Productions. "Many thanks to everyone who make it possible for all of us to do theaterl I love it and would go crazy without it! To my mom, sister, cousin, brothers! I needed this show and know that y'all will enjoy it! I love y'all more than words can say! Viva Foreverl" Terrie Justus has been involved with Rover since Her favorite performance was in the title role in Veronica's Room, and she especially enjoyed producing Days of Wine and Roses and designing props for Written in Time, The Star Spangled Girl and Black Comedy. Serving as a board member has been the most challenging and rewarding part of the whole experience. Terrie has also been involved with many other area theatres.
