6 YOUR PERFORMANCE IN THE FINAL Change of Repertoire You may play the same or different pieces in the Final. If there is a change, please follow this link to submit your new song title and new backing track (if any) no later than Monday, 22 July 2018, 23:59 Singapore time (GMT + 8). CHANGE OF REPERTOIRE Performance Duration Finalists of Junior, Intermediate and Open categories are reminded to perform within the stated durations. If a finalist exceeds the duration, he or she may be penalised, or disqualified. The duration of performance starts to be counted when a finalist starts to play the drum. 7 BACKING TRACK SUBMISSION *For finalists who use backing track and have not submitted during the qualifying round. Backing track audio format: MP3, WMA, WAV, AIFF. Backing track with no drums on the track (backing track minus drums). Audio quality must be clear. The organizer is not responsible for the audio quality of your backing track. Backing track must be no more than 4 minutes otherwise will be void. Each backing track audio file should not exceed 10MB in size. 9 THE USE OF THE COMPETITION DRUM KIT We do not encourage you to bring your own drum gear. We want the competition to remain as fair as possible where everyone plays on the same gear provided by the event organizer. The Competition Drum Kit is open to booking for participants to feel and familiarize with the instrument before the competition. Please refer to the Competition Drum Kit Rental for more information In case you want to bring your own equipment such as bass drum pedal, cymbal, snare drum, you must to organizer for approval. We will review the equipment prior to the competition for its acceptance to use. For participant who choose to use the Electronic Hybrid Drum Kit additional gear are strictly not allowed on the hybrid drum kit.
