3 BACKGROUND: PROJECT OBJECTIVES The project objective is to provide latest teaching methods to the teacher & students by providing latest technological tools along with conventional teaching method for better student teacher interaction and better understanding & involvement of students in the classroom teaching. A computer lab in Higher Secondary school in Behror of physical dimension of Approx x 19 9 is equipped with 13 Desktop PC for students and 1 Desktop PC for Teaching staff. It is proposed to convert this computer Lab into a E classroom with modern amenities for Local classroom teaching with aid of latest Audio visual equipment as well as a collaborated computer based teaching between the teacher & students with addition of 5 more Desktop PCs for students. A learning system based on formalized teaching but with the help of electronic resources is known as E-learning. E-learning and smart classroom aims at developing the students learning ability as the entire chapters become more interesting to study and hence improve the results of the students. The smart classrooms are the new generation educational product which helps students gain more marks and is a step to the future of education. E-learning is a revolutionary product in the field of education. E-learning aims at developing the students learning ability and making the entire education & learning process more interesting to bind the interest of students towards studies, better comprehension of the contents and hence as a result help improve the results & overall academics of the students While teaching can be based in or out of the classrooms, the use of computers and the Internet forms the major component of E-learning. E-learning can also be termed as a network enabled transfer of skills and knowledge, and the delivery of education is made to a large number of recipients at the same or different times. Earlier, it was not accepted wholeheartedly as it was assumed that this system lacked the human element required in learning..

Alwar, Rajasthan Sealed tenders are invited on behalf of DMICDC Neemrana Solar Power Company Limited for Implementation of e-classroom in Computer Lab at Higher Secondary School in Behror at Govt. Girls Higher Secondary School, Behror, District Alwar, Rajasthan. 2 Estimated Cost (TS) (This estimate however, is given merely as a rough guide) : Rs. 8.5 Lacs 3 EMD : Rs. 10,000/ Cost of Tender Document : Rs. 590/- including 18% GST. Completion Time from the date of award : (Supply & Installation) 45 days Last date & time for Submission of Tender : 23rd August 2018 at 03 PM 7. Method of Selection: The client will select the applicant who will quote the lowest amount for the said works. The detailed description of the works (Scope of work) to be carried out is enclosed at Annexure-A. 8. Brief Description of the Selection Process: The Client has adopted a two stage selection process (collectively the Selection Process ) for evaluating the Proposals comprising the Technical and Financial Proposals to be submitted in two separate sealed envelopes. The Technical Proposal along with the EMD and Tender fee shall be placed separately in a sealed envelope titled Technical Proposal. Financial proposal should be placed separately in sealed envelope titled Financial proposal. The technical evaluation as specified in this tender will be carried out only for those Applicants who submit the EMD amount and tender fee as prescribed in this tender. Based on this technical evaluation, a list of technically qualified Applicants shall be prepared. Only the Financial Proposals of technically qualified Applicants will be opened. The Applicant quoting the lowest amount shall be preferred for award of project (the Successful Bidder ) while the second ranked Applicant will be kept in reserve.

7 9. Clarification and amendment of tender documents: Interested Parties may seek clarification on this tender document. Any request for clarification must be sent by below mentioned mail address within 7 days : tenders@dmicdc.com, atanu.dmic@gmail.com, subhankar.dmic@gmail.com The Client will endeavor to respond to all the queries. 10. The EMD (Refundable) of Rs. 10,000/- and the cost of tender document (Non-Refundable) of Rs. 590/- including 18% GST are to be submitted through Pay Order/Demand Draft drawn on DMICDC Neemrana Solar Power Company Limited payable at New Delhi. Please do not use any abbreviation in the demand draft. DNSPCL GSTIN : 08AAECD9888J1ZU No interest will be payable on EMD. In the case of successful bidder, earnest money deposit will be adjusted towards the security deposit or it may be forfeited in case the successful bidder refuses to accept the award of supply or fails to complete the required formalities within the specified and permitted time. The earnest money is refundable to the unsuccessful bidders only after the finalization of the tender. The tender without EMD will be summarily rejected. 11. Successfully completed Similar Work (Similar work includes E-Classroom/ Smart Classroom / Virtual Classroom setup or other Audio visual integration work) during last 5 (Five) years. 1 (One) similar completed work costing not less than the amount equal to 80% of the estimated cost. 12. Copies of similar works executed in last three years along with work order/completion certificate issued by the previous clients showing the nature of work and their value. 13. Proof Copy of valid PAN No. and GST No. 14. Proof of average annual financial turn over during last three years ending previous financial year (31 st March 2017) should be at least 30% the estimated cost as per format. 15. The tender has to be submitted in DMICDC Neemrana Solar Power Company Limited, Plot No. SP 80&81, RIICO Industrial Area, Japanese Zone, Neemrana, District Alwar, Rajasthan Tenderers are advised to inspect and examine the site and its surroundings and satisfy themselves before submitting their tenders as nature of the site, the means of access to the site, the accommodation they may require and in general shall themselves obtain all necessary information as to the risk,

8 contingencies and other circumstances which may influence or affect their tender. A tenderer shall be deemed to have full knowledge of the site, whether he inspect it or not and no extra charges consequent on any misunderstandings or he inspect it or not and no extra charges consequent on any misunderstandings or otherwise shall be allowed. 17. Submission of a tender by a tenderer implies that he has read this notice and all other contract documents and has made himself of the scope and specifications of the work to be done and of the conditions and rates at which stores, tools, plant etc. will be issued to him by the corporation and local conditions and other factors bearing on the execution of the work. 18. All rates shall be quoted in tender form and shall include all materials, labour, transportation, duties, testing, commissioning, supervision, tool as required mobilization demobilization etc. 19. The contractor shall be solely responsible for complying with the provision of EPF and misc. Provision Act 1952 and ESI Act relating to manpower engaged to this contract in due event of any liability on DNSPCL by virtue of its being the principle employer due to failure of contract to comply the said Acts. The contractor shall indemnity and reimburses the amount payable to DNSPCL on this Account. 20. In case of item tenders, only rates quoted shall be considered. Any tender containing percentage below/above the rates quoted is liable to be rejected. 21. On acceptance of tender, the earnest money will be treated as part of the Security. 22. The DMICDC Neemrana Solar Power Company Limited will return the earnest money, where applicable to every unsuccessful tenderer. 23. A tenderer shall submit the tender whom satisfies each and every condition laid down in this notice, failing which the tender will be liable to be rejected. 24. The DMICDC Neemrana Solar Power Company Limited does not bind them to accept the lowest or any tender or to give any reasons for their decisions. 25. The DMICDC Neemrana Solar Power Company Limited reserve to themselves the right of accepting the whole or any part of the tender and tenderer shall be bound to perform the same at his quoted rates. 26. The validity of the tender(s) shall be up to 180 (One Hundred Eighty) days from the date of submission of tender(s). 27. In case it is found during the evaluation or at any time before signing of the contract or after its execution and during the period of subsistence thereof that one or more of the eligibility condition have not been met by the applicant or the applicant has made material misrepresentation or has given any materially incorrect or false information, the applicant shall be disqualified

9 forth with, if not yet, appointed as the contractor/supplier and if the applicant has already issued the LOA or has entered into the contract, as the case may be, same shall not withstanding anything to the contrary contained therein liable to be terminated along with forfeiture of Earnest Money Deposit (EMD)/ Performance Security by a Communication in writing by the Corporation to the Applicant, without the Corporation being liable In any manner whatsoever to the applicant and Without prejudice to any other right or remedy which the Corporation may have with initiation of any appropriate panel action as per the applicable law. 28. The notice of tender shall form part of the contract document. 29. It may differ as per site condition. The payment will be made as per actual quantity of work done.

10 33. All the instruments warranty shall be two years and instrument data sheet shall be submitted to the site office. 34. Copies of instruction booklet, O&M manuals, spare parts bulletins and drawings shall be furnished free of cost and have to be submitted to the cluent. 35. Scope of Work Supply installation, testing & commissioning of Audio Visual and IT infrastructure for E-Classroom in exsisting computer lab having 13 Desktop PC for students & 1 Desktop PC for Teacher. Below mentioned are the other proposed Equipments in the room with their desired functionality to convert the room to a E classroom facility with better and latest teaching tools & methods. This classroom is purely aimed at a local teaching with a teacher-student collaboration and effective teaching tool. Main Display System: A WXGA resolution 3500 ANSI lumens Brightness projector is proposed as the main Display in the E Classroom which will be used for Local Presentations, Video Presentation content & also showing any documented teaching content on a large screen for a better viewing by the students. A large motorized Projection Screen of 94 approx. diagonal size, on top of an existing Black board is proposed for the projection of images/content from the projector on a larger screen for better viewing & comprehension by students. The Black board when needs to be used can be conveniently accessed by taking Up the Projection screen by just press of a single Button. Document camera /Visualizers: This is the modern day replacement of erstwhile OHP Projector/Slide Projectors, to show any document content or object content projected on a large screen. Proposed is a Full HD resolution camera which can capture feeds at higher resolution & provide better clarity to the content while showing to the students on large screen. Switching & Interfacing System: A centralized Audio Video Switching & Scaling device is proposed which can support upto 1x VGA input & 2 x HDMI inputs proposed for taking input from Dektop PC of Teacher, one Input from Document camera and one future HDMI input support for Laptop or PC with HDMI digital output. This switcher will be able to show any of the connected content on the Projector. This device is also proposed to have inbuilt capability to transmit long distance digital video feed signal upto Projector without any signal loss over a single twisted pair cable. Audio For audio reinforcement and intelligibility of any video presentation content 2 nos of Wall mount speakers are proposed with Mixing amplifier. Student lecturer Collaboration suite: A software based collaboration suite is proposed for effective teaching & monitoring of the students by the teacher. A license for 20 students & one teacher is considered through which the classroom study management can be done by the teacher. This will allow students who are at their desktop PC to learn at the same time save time, enhance learning and students will be kept safe from browsing unwanted content over net. With help of this software

12 Teacher will be able to see whats happening on all student screen, is someone struggling with a lesson, playing on social media, cheating on a test etc. Through this the teacher can facilitate learning by sharing his screen on every student device and various other features like quiz creation, Broadcast teacher's screen to students, the full screen or partially. Monitoring student computers in a realtime, with ability to view student computers in thumbnails or in full screen mode, with shared remote control mode, when teacher can help students remotely on their computers. Document management: send work documents to students in a couple of clicks and collect them back when necessary with sorting by folders.
