1 SUBJECT: - Year 9 English: Introduction to Gothic Horror 1. Research one of the following Gothic Horror writers: Bram Stoker, Mary Shelley, Edgar Allen Poe. Present your findings as a mind-map, poster or PowerPoint presentation. 2. Write a description of a room in your house in the style of a Gothic Horror writer. 3. Create a Recipe for Gothic Horror story, including an ingredients list and instructions. 4. Create an acrostic poem to show the ingredients of a GOTHIC HORROR text. 5. Recreate one of the Gothic Horror stories you have read as a comic strip / storyboard. 6. Write a modern gothic horror short story of your own.

Write a review of the performance for the Culture section of a broadsheet newspaper.
