Very interesting topics - would be a great addition to students cultural knowledge of French culture and how Americans are perceived by the French. $ A half-year subscription (10 copies, 2-3 times a year) for the Scholastic Magazines level 4 French magazine. This would include a full year of access to their educational website, which contains lots of great video content in French. around $100. Construction paper/art supplies Lisa Martinez Math Dept Chair The Math Department loans out graphing calculators to students in financial need at LWHS. This year we ran out of calculators! Due to the age of our calculator loaners, some have stopped functioning and others were returned partially broken from last year. I am writing to request 6 Texas Instruments TI-84+ calculators that can be loaned out to needy students for years to come. The cost is approximately $112 each. Any donation would be much appreciated if all six is too much! I ve included a link from Amazon showing which calculator, if ful. 4 Kyle Maddex ELL Flip charts (giant post-it notes) big pieces of white paper that my students and I can write our ideas on quickly, and then leave them around the room for people to be able to look at them and remember what the definitions mean, which is very helpful for ELL students. Here s a link to a flip chart at Office Max ( I d need like two or three (at least one for each of my classrooms), but they don t have to be those exact ones.
