SECURITY DEPOSIT / PERFORMANCE BANK GUARANTEE Ten (10%) percent of the value of the order shall be furnished by the successful tenderer for proper Fulfillment of the order. This will be returned after the expiry of the Guarantee period. 5.0 VALIDITY Tenderer shall invariably state in the tender, the validity of the offer. The requirement of post Warranty of Comprehensive AMC for 2 to 4 years including the cost of labour, travel and spares (if any) etc., shall be offered as an option. The offer should clearly state full details of the after sales facility available for the equipment. The details shall include the No. & qualification of service personnel stationed at the service centre, response time in case of emergency, availability of spares etc. The offer shall also give the amount and other terms and conditions for Annual Service contract of the equipment after the expiry of the guarantee/ warranty period. 9.0 PACKING :- a) The equipment shall be packed suitably for dispatch direct to CPRI at Suppliers expense and tenderer shall be responsible for any damages during transit. b. External damages or shortages that are prima facie the result of rough handling in transit or due to defective package will be intimated within a fortnight of the receipt of materials / equipment s.

23 3 Introduction Solar simulation system with Simulator class according IEC BBA consists of set of light radiating units which will be hit on solar PV modules at a distance so as to have a 1000 W/m2 radiation ( nm) on surface of modules. It is used to perform termperature rise test, soak test and hot spot endurance test on solar pv modules of all type as per IEC and IEC The characteristic of the system needs to match the requirements of the global radiation (AM1,5). 4 Pre qualification criteria 5 Solar simulator unit clasiification(class BBA) i) The bidder should have supplied a similar system to national or international testing laboratory. ii) Satisfactory peformance certificate must be provided. 5.1 Spectral distribution i) The spectral distribution of lighting unit( lamps, reflector, glass filter) should corresond to class B. ii) The spectral distribution corresponds to Table.1 of IEC adaption of all intervals of table 1: o,6-1,4 corresponds with class B in Table 2. Each Unit nominal Lifetime should be minimum of 1000 hours 14 Power supply unit i) Appropriate electronics power supplies of Industrial grade heavy duty should be provided ii) Should have provision to dissipate heat iii) Should have a provision to count the number of working hours of each lamp unit 15 Cabling Cable size between lamps and cabinet should be minimum of 10m 16 Terms and Conditions 16.1 Acceptance Criteria During the final acceptance test, a calibrated Radiometer should be used to verify operation and performance. A calibrated Pyranometer should be used to measure the radiant energy at a height from impact area. The Pyranometer should be placed in the center of each grid block as mentioned below with using the grid pattern covering over the impact area. The system is considered meeting the specification when the actual average irradiance and the uniformity are according to the below -mentioned values and within below mentioned tolerances. Radiaton intensity: W/m² ( mm) Target area size: mm x mm Homogenity: ±5% or better, Measuring grid: 0.2m ( sensor in centre of grid) 16.2 Transport of Materials at Customer Site The supplier should take responsibility for the transport of all materials/components to ERED, CPRI, Bangalore. It is the responsibility of the supplier to request detailed dimensions of all materials (Frames: E- Cabinets, room dimensions, etc) including necessary footprints to setup the respective components in advance. 26 16.3 Warranty i)the warranty period should be 12 months after 1st acceptance test or 18 months after delivery. ii) warranty for life time of each light intensity unit should be minimum 500 hours 17 Reference standard IEC 61730/ IEC Accessories Pyranometer (should be able to measure the operation of the light intensity units) One set of lamp units 19 Installation Should provide 2 set of documents with all the specifications needed for the installation including health and safety protection measures. If any unforeseeable circumstances occur during the scheduled period of time, the supplier should take care of additional costs. 20 Calibration Necessary calibration certificate from accredited laboratories must be provided along with the equipment Note : Compliance to meeting all of the above technical specification requirement should be furnished in detail against each serial number in GTP column with supporting technical write up, illustrations, schematics, single line diagrams, drawings, catalogues of proposed sub-equipment & instruments suppliers etc. PN : 1.
