The idea was to enjoy some sunny days and relax before the colder season would begin. When we arrived at the hotel, someone came to speak to us. It was bad news. The hotel was overbooked. This was unbelievable! I was just getting really upset, after all, I was very tired after the long journey when they said they would drive us to another hotel where we could stay for two nights before returning to their hotel. Well, we were not exactly thrilled about unpacking, packing and then unpacking our suitcases within two days, but there was nothing that we could do about it. So we agreed to do so. On top of everything, the hotel they drove us to by the way it was a long journey!! was still a construction site, some parts of it weren t even built. It was awful. We dropped our suitcases and went out. The next morning we heard the most terrible noise from outside our window. It was far from what you d call a relaxing holiday. Well, to cut a long story short, after two days of beautiful sunshine on the construction site, it rained for the rest of our holiday. voices basic two Lehrmittelverlag Zürich 29
