The girls in this class have nothing in their coat pockets Activity 7 Once upon a time there was someone very young who lived somewhere in the woods with somebody who was rather old. There was no one else in the family. One day, this young person put on something red and went for a walk. She was very happy. An hour later, she decided to return home. On her way there she met nobody. When she arrived home, she put something on the kitchen table and went to the bedroom. To her surprise, she didn t see anyone there, but she felt something strange was going on. Suddenly, she heard someone calling her. She turned round and saw an ugly creature that frightened her. 2

Saint Marteen is a fascinating place. Have you ever been there? Greg: No, I haven t. So tell me all about it. Barbara: The place is pretty scenic. The beaches there are really great and the food was delicious. I ate a lot of seafood. Have you ever eaten seafood? Greg: Yes, I have. Actually, I went to a seafood restaurant last weekend. But, tell me about the weather there. How was it? Barbara: It was warm and sunny and it didn t rain at all. Greg: In fact, you have a nice suntan. Listen, I have to go now, but let s meet again so you can tell me more about it. Barbara: That s a good idea. Bye!!
