1 2019 Winter Event Registration Registration for fall events will begin on December 10 at 8:00 a.m. We serve groups of ten or more and can only offer transportation to the events listed in our newsletter. Reservations are taken on a firstcome, first-serve basis. On reservation day groups are to or fax their reservations after 8:00 AM. If you do not have access to or fax you may call our senior ride line and make reservations via phone. Fares Please don t try to make reservations before that date and time. Groups that submit their reservations early will be disqualified and may not be approved for reservations. When submitting reservations please leave a clear message with your group s information and the name of the event including the number of seats you are requesting. Please let us know if you expect to have persons in wheelchairs in your group. It may take us up to a week to process the reservations we receive and get back to you. Please don t make reservations with any venues until you hear from us. Unless otherwise stated, all confirmation dates are three weeks in advance of the event. It is your responsibility to contact us with your final count or cancelation at least 2 weeks before an event. Our office is open Monday through Friday and is closed on major holidays. If you have a concern outside regular hours, please contact the Telephone Information Center at Passengers of any age can use SeniorRide and SeniorShopper. The local fare for SeniorRide and Senior Shopper is $3.00 round-trip for passengers 65 years and older and $6.00 round-trip for all other passengers. Trips outside the Denver Metro area are considered regional. This includes trips to the Wildlife Experience. The Mile High City has seen a number of fine chocolate and candy manufacturers come and go. But the candy company founded by Carl Hammond Sr., in 1920 is one that is still very much in business. Hammond s Candy Factory still makes candy the way Carl Hammond made it with the same tempting recipes and the same careful craftsmanship. Tours are free and take approximately 30 minutes. 11 Sound Of The Rockies Sing! Sing! Sing! Under the direction of Mark Hale, the 100-voice, internationally 4th-ranked Sound of the Rockies chorus welcomes the arrival of spring with a selection of energetic, family-friendly songs in a variety of styles. The a cappella show also features a salute to liberty as the chorus prepares to serve as musical ambassadors at the 75th anniversary of D-Day in Normandy, France in June. Our special guest quartet will be The Newfangled Four. They are the current Barbershop Harmony Society 2018 International 6th place finalists. Their on stage comical adaptations of songs you know (and some you don t know) will keep you laughing throughout their performance. Islamorada Fish Company, owned and operated by Bass Pro Shops, is rich in tradition, atmosphere, and one of the best food and beverage menus in the City. The restaurant atmosphere features several true-to-life oceanic scene depictions and murals. The 13,000 gallon salt water aquarium is behind the bar and is filled with many different species of salt water fish that are indigenous to the Islamorada area.
