1 Partnership2Gether Student Multicultural Music Program in Israel This 7-day intensive program in the Western Galilee region of Israel is designed for serious violin and viola students who are interested in collaboration and social engagement through innovative people-topeople diplomacy in Israel. This opportunity is open to six musicians (violin and viola) aged 18 and older from the Partnership2Gether U.S. Central Area Consortium Communities & Budapest, Hungary who will be selected via an application, one page resume and audition video. During the program, students will attend a world-class faculty seminar and receive dynamic, personal instruction at the Keshet Eilon Music Center, have multiple performance opportunities, attend workshops in local music schools and at the Akko Conservatory of Music, and participate in a multicultural exchange with local student musicians creating a positive impact on the community all while experiencing the beauty of northern Israel. The P2G Student Multicultural Music Program is built on three principles: to strengthen musical expression, to build meaningful relationships, and to foster mutual respect. The program is from Monday, December 10 to Monday, December 17, 2018 (not including travel time on Dec 9 and Dec 18). Our Partnership2Gether Communities: Buffalo, New York, Dayton, Toledo, Youngstown, Ohio; Fort Wayne, Indianapolis, Northwest Indiana, South Bend, Indiana; Louisville, Kentucky; Des Moines, Iowa; Omaha, Nebraska; Austin, Fort Worth, San Antonio, Texas; and Budapest, Hungary are linked with the Akko and Matte Asher in the Western Galilee. 2 Costs Students are responsible for: 25$ Registration Fee Round trip flight costs $500* program fee for the Keshet Eilon Seminar (a special reduced price*) Students are responsible for their health insurance Any additional private meals, activities or personal items outside of the itinerary Partnership2Gether is responsible for: All ground costs and meals in the Western Galilee including student housing, food, transportation and touring. Application, Resume, Audition Video & Fee Download and complete your application form and prepare a one page resume. Create an audition video of two contrasting works at a maximum of 10 minutes. This video must be uploaded to a private YouTube channel.
