Then join us for carousing and merriment in the Zoo picnic area where you will enjoy a variety of New Belgium Brewing Company beers, live music, games, giveaways, and feast on tasty post-ride treats expertly crafted and available for purchase at the SSA grillin station! The course has a variety of surfaces including asphalt, brick, boardwalk, crushed rock, and grass. There is a combination of up hills, down hills, tight turns and flat stretches throughout the course. Native Michigan woodlands are in abundance along with a wide variety of zoo animals to catch your eye. Highlights also include panoramic views of the African savannah with herds of giraffe, zebra, antelope, and more. This is a truly unique venue for a bike ride. (Bikes wider than 40 and taller than 84 will have difficulty navigating the course.) This event is for everyone, but please no tricycles or training wheels due to the difficulty of the course. 9 October 5, 2018 CHAMBER GOLF CLASSIC Bella Vista Golf Course Straight Drive 10:00 AM - 04:00 PM EST Coldwater Chamber, The event you've been waiting for... the 36th ANNUAL CHAMBER OF COMMERCE GOLF OUTING at Bella Vista Golf Course, the 10th course in Michigan to receive full honors as a certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary, and also has been recognized as recipient of the Environmental Stewardship Award! The Chamber Outing provides members the opportunity to enjoy a day on the greens with friends, clients or prospects and network with chamber leaders & board members. This year, the 18-hole shotgun scramble will start at 10:00 a.m. with the driving range and putting green opening at 9:00 a.m. Each player with receive a boxed lunch on the course, golf apparel ($50 value), dinner, refreshments and sponsor giveaways at the tees! Event goers will enjoy a menu of beer-centric small bite food pairings included in the ticket price. As part of the admission price, each guest receives a souvenir Bonteboktoberfest tasting glass, 12 drink tickets and small bite food pairings. Additional drink vouchers are available for purchase if your glass runs dry as well as food truck menu choices for the bigger appetites. Bonteboktoberfest is a fundraising event named for the bontebok, a rare species of antelope found in the Western Cape Area of South Africa and in Wild Africa at Binder Park Zoo. The bontebok is a Species Survival Plan (SSP) animal through the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA). Free to the public, pumpkins, carving tools and refreshments are all provided guests need only bring their imagination to carve a jack-o-lantern masterpiece that will be displayed inside the zoo! ZooBoo runs October & 25-28; Thursday and Friday 4-8 pm and Saturday and Sunday 1-8pm (closed Monday through Wednesday). Admission is $9 per person for zoo members and $10 for non-members and may be purchased at the gate. Admission includes unlimited train, carousel and hayrides, the Trick-or-Treat Trail, life-size games, and the Wild Science Zone with six spooky learning themes. Guests can also enjoy a series of exciting stage shows at the Wildlife Discovery Theater including magic acts, Imagination Station, DJ Dance Party and more.
