The syncopation ritten in the irst measures and again at measure 53 can e taught to the entire orchestra simultaneously. It should e stressed that these and any other syncopated rhythms must not e rushed. Steady sudivision o the pulse ill help to ensure accurate syncopation. Also, remind the players o the recurring, especially 1st Violins hen playing in 3rd position. RERODUCTION In measure 36, the asses should kno that they are the only ones playing, and that it is important to the end o the phrase that this measure e strong and present. At measure 57, the violas should ork to ring out the marked accents to continue the strong Latin eel.
