16 Water meter quality control A water meter has a very complex but precise plastics gearing mechanism, which is made upofmanysmallassembledplasticsparts.this systemistoensurethequalityof the assembly processes and accuracy of the meter. Various test methodologies was designed to characterise the behaviour of this device and to define the pass/fail criteria.
