The appearance of something, especially its outline. e.g. This is a teddy bear shape; He cut a square shape out of the cake. 2. Condition; fitness, e.g. We exercise to keep in good shape; I have been sick so I am not in good shape; These library books are not in good shape. scrape verb [scrape, scraping, scraped] 1. To draw something along a surface, e.g. Her fingernails scraped across the blackboard, making a sharp sound; Scrape the chewing gum off with a knife. 2. To injure or damage by rubbing across a surface. e.g. The child scraped his elbow; She tripped on a rock and scraped her knee; I scrape my tongue every morning with a tongue scraper. ate verb [eat, eating, ate] Simple past of eat, e.g. We ate dahl for breakfast; I have a pain in my stomach, I think I ate something bad.

The main entrance to a property or house, e.g. The gate opened and the car came in. hate verb [hate, hating, hated] To dislike intensely; to feel strong hostility towards. e.g. I hate cold weather; I hate boiled vegetables. Intense or passionate dislike, e.g. He gave me a look filled with pure hate.

So you like to roller skate or skate board? An ice or roller skate, e.g. Lets go for a skate in the park.
