Operated by a private non-profit corporation and powered by more than 4,000 volunteers, the Gilroy Garlic Festival is recognized around the world for its innovative concept, community impact, entertainment experience and, of course, fantastic food! WE INVITE YOU TO BE PART OF THE WORLD S GREATEST SUMMER FOOD FESTIVAL! FEATURES GOURMET ALLEY: The heart of the Gilroy Garlic Festival is Gourmet Alley, where the world-famous Pyro Chefs and an army of volunteers prepare garlic-laced calamari, scampi, pepper steak sandwiches, pasta con pesto, garlic bread, garlic fries, and more. ENTERTAINMENT: With concerts on multiple stages all weekend long, guests enjoy a diverse lineup of music, from rock and country to soul and swing. Each year, the Festival welcomes some of country music s hottest new sensations; past performers have included Rascall Flatts, Charlie Worsham, Dustin Lynch, and Carly Pearce. COOK-OFF COMPETITIONS: The Cook-Off Stage features live cooking demonstrations and competitions all three days, from amateur cooks from around the country competing in the Great Garlic Cook-Off to professional chefs battling in the Garlic Showdown. ARTS & CRAFTS: The Arts & Crafts areas showcase a wide variety of unique, high-quality handmade creations by talented artisans from across the country. CHILDREN S AREA: The ever-popular Children s Area features games, hands-on crafts, and live entertainment for our younger guests. GARLIC MERCANTILE: From hats and shirts to wine glasses, the Garlic Mercantile boutiques on both sides of the park showcase a wide range of Festival merchandise and souvenirs. VENDORS: A variety of food, beverage and merchandise booths throughout the park offer everything from Cajun crawdads to tie-dye t-shirts.
