As always the kids club will be open and fully supervised at the RSL from 6pm to 10pm. 4 ENJOY YOUR CLUBS SUMMER ENTERTAINMENT Hit the Deck is back again with live entertainment for the summer months. There's no better place to be than sitting out on the gorgeous deck at the Commercial Club on these summer evenings. Enjoy live music by great local talent including Josh McKellar and Jarryn Phegan. Our tapas menu is proving to be a big hit with great food available. Be sure to check out the entertainment calendar to see who's playing. COMMUNITY CONNECT FOR DECEMBER! On the 24th of October, the Wagga RSL and Commercial Club took part in a charity cattle auction for Riverina Blue Bell. As part of the Riverina Local Land Services Droving the Blues Away initiative, the RSL and Commercial Club purchased one of eleven donated steers for a whopping 10,000. All funds raised go towards greater mental health outreach and building awareness of mental health in the Riverina. The steer purchased will be fattened up and later sold with the further profit going back to this worthy cause. Left to right - Mac Armytage (Chair - Riverina Blue Bell) and Andrew Bell (CEO) with Mark Leary and Barney Hyams (Riverina Local Land Services) WAGGA RSL BOWLING CLUB'S PINK RIBBON DAY The Wagga RSL Bowling Club hosted a pink ribbon fundraising day on the 8th October and raised 826 to help the fight against women s cancer. Max Sanbrook, President of the Wagga RSL Bowling Club, said, I am very proud of how much support there was for our annual fundraiser. Lily White from Cancer Council NSW said, It is wonderful that clubs like the Wagga RSL Bowling Club are motivated to support those battling cancer. We rely on these supporters to help us in our mission to defeat cancer as Cancer Council NSW is 97% community funded. NEW YEARS EVE ENTERTAINMENT Don't miss fantastic live entertainment by Outta the Blue this New Years Eve. Outta the Blue play a wide range of songs from the decades, ranging from the 70's through to modern day, from artists like John Cougar, Cindy Lauper, Eddie & Cruisers, Fleetwood Mac, Ed Sheeran as well as some original material. Outta the Blue will be at Wagga RSL on New Years Eve from 8.30pm and will see you into the New Year.
