Age groups will be split accordingly to entries. If there are not six dancers entered in an age group, then that group will be combined with the next age group to qualify for a Premiership. Dancers must use the changing room, there is no changing allowed in the foyer or in the dancing area. There will be a dancer of the day trophy awarded to the dancer with the most points. Any complaint made by an individual against the ECHDA or adjudication of a ECHDA event, must be made in writing giving the complainant s full name and address and lodged with the ECHDA, if possible on the day of the event but certainly not later that 48 hours after the event. A deposit of $25.00 must accompany any complaint. The deposit shall be returned should the complaint be upheld. If within seven days of lodging such complaint and the complainant has received no satisfaction from the ECHDA, the complainant then may refer the matter to ScotDance Canada. 3 ECHDA Waiver and Release Please complete the following Waiver and Release: I consent to and authorize the participation of my child or myself (insert name) in Highland Dancing and related activities organized, promoted and/or affiliated with ECHDA including, but not limited to, competitions, workshops, public performances or any such activity in which I or my child participates. In consideration for such participation and in full awareness of the possible risk of injury that may arise to my child or myself through and as a result of such participation, I agree to release and waive any rights to claims that I, my heirs, agents and/or family may have against ECHDA and all their Executive members, volunteers and agents from all claims and damages arising from the participation of myself and/or my child in such activities. I further agree that I and/or my child will abide by all rules, regulations and policies of ECHDA, ScotDance Canada, and the Scottish Official Board of Highland Dancing. I fully understand that the organizers and volunteers of ECHDA will endeavour to enforce the photographic and recording policy in relation to the event, however, recognize that attendees of activities organized, promoted, and/or affiliated with ECHDA may take photographs and/or video footage of myself and/or my child in contravention of such policy due to the discreet nature of some video and photographic recording technology. I also consent that the following information may be shared in the public domain including printed materials, public announcements, and the internet and will be used and shared in accordance with SDC's Privacy Policy; Dancers Name, Category & Results. I, the undersigned, have read this agreement carefully and fully understand it and agree to all the above terms and conditions.
