2 What a year! I can't quite believe that it's been over a year since that wonderful night, where 20 representatives from Cardiff to Jamaica took to the stage to compete to become the Ultimate Bombshell saw Kimberley Verlangan, from the Netherlands, crowned the inaugural Miss International Bombshell at the glittering world finale, which took place in Stirlingshire, Scotland. As the pageant slowly and patiently finds its place, we are delighted that we can now pass the UK baton on to our first National Director Jolieanna Davis of Bedazzled Boutique, Derby; who not only placed in the Top 6 of last years' international final, but walked away with both Best in Platform and Brand Ambassador Awards. I have now had the pleasure of working alongside this wonderfully talented, loyal, motivated and inspirational woman for the past 12 months, and am delighted to see her Team UK Selection; Great British Bombshell through to fruition. Her delegates have over the past months been busy preparing for this event, and on behalf of our full team at the International Bombshell Organisation, I'd like to wish everyone the very best of luck. Our UK finalists will descend on Derby from the 26th 29th May for Pageant Weekend, competing for that coveted National Crown and Title Great British Bombshell Just WHO will be joining us for the International World Finale in Spain & Gibraltar this September? Whether you are attending to cheer on a candidate, or are coming along to see what all the fuss is about you're sure to have a fantastic evening. Last year, the winner of the Best in Platform spoke extremely passionatley about Me&Dee, a charity of which she is an ambassador. In recognition of this, once fundrasing for Unicef ended, the challenge to promote Me&Dee began. All our 2016 Bombshells have been working in their own idividual ways to bring awareness to this cause, and help raise much needed funds. We are pround of each an everyone one of them for doing so, and thank them for their hard work and dedication. The winner of the MIss Charity Award, will become an ambaassador for the year for Me&Dee - continuing this work for such a wonderful self-funded cause.
