Negative Sentence S+was, were +not+ v-ing She wasn t reading a book. Interrogative Sentence Was, Were+S+v-ing? Was She reading a book? My dad and my brother were playing football. My sister and her friends were playing volleyball. My dog was sleeping under the tree. It was a really beautiful day. I was eating while it was raining. As they were reading, I was sleeping. We were listening to the radio as he was watching TV?
