1 SEASON years 120 peoriasymphony.org
2 Dear Music Lovers, Can you believe it? One hundred and twenty years ago the Peoria Symphony Orchestra was born! Housed on the campus of the newly founded Bradley University, the PSO became one of only a handful of orchestras in the United States. The founding of both a university and an orchestra identified Peoria as a place of cultural importance and sophistication. Now one of the longest enduring orchestras, the PSO has established a tradition of musical excellence and service to the community. We are proud to continue our musical service, cultural collaboration, and educational leadership in this 120th season of the PSO. Throughout this season, the PSO will honor its heritage and embrace its future with concerts that recognize important regional, national, and international anniversaries; collaborate with our esteemed cultural, educational, and corporate partners; and continue our community outreach. We will also present some completely new creative concepts that I am sure you will enjoy. As you peruse these wonderful upcoming concerts, consider the long history, and future, of your Peoria Symphony Orchestra. Imagine what the founding Plowe brothers would think of the success, excellence, and innovation of their musical gift to Peoria. Most importantly, enjoy both the music and the concert experience by joining us this season. Become part of the celebration and be proud of your Peoria Symphony Orchestra. George Stelluto, Music Director Peoria Symphony Orchestra Visit us at
