The mystery surrounding Mozart s death remains an enigmatic puzzle to this day. Answers can only be found in his Requiem Mass, which he left for us as an inspirational message of hope and spiritual fulfillment. 19 Northwest Florida Symphony Orchestra at Northwest Florida State College Meet the Conductor Devin Patrick Hughes joins the NFSO from Colorado where he conducts the Boulder Symphony and Arapahoe Philharmonic. He has led orchestras around the world, and was most recently featured in the Toscanini and Solti conducting competitions of Italy and Hungary. I am thrilled to the join the NFW State College community and to be a part of this magnificent gem that is the Northwest Florida Symphony Orchestra. I am hopeful that the Symphony will be a vehicle for inspiration and connection. We are so privileged and excited to continue to enrich the community and educate future generations! Education & Outreach Programs Since 1987 the NFSO has provided innovative music education outreach to area youth reaching more than 80,000 children with the Emerald Coast s most comprehensive K-12 music education endeavors! 5TH GRADE CONCERT PETER VS. THE WOLF For more than 30 years, the NFSO has provided annual concerts for 5th graders with specialized youth oriented programming and teacher s curriculum. 4TH GRADE CONCERTS ORCHESTRA ROCKS! Orchestra Rocks is the end-of-the-year performance for local students who participate in the region s first Carnegie Hall Link Up! program. The program features a year-long music curriculum & fun classroom activities that culminate in this interactive concert with the NFSO at the Mattie Kelly Arts Center.
