Ensemble: Xi Yang Yang Cheerful and relaxed rhythm, full of a festive atmosphere. 2. Yangqin solo: Shan Dan Dan Kai Hua Hong Yan Yan Player: Wang Nan This is based on the folk songs in northern Shaanxi. Through the performance of the yangqin technique, the melody expresses the people s happiness for a good life. 3. Bamboo Flute Solo: New Songs for Herdsmen Player: Li Jidong The works are characterized by a rich and refreshing folk and folk music style, intimate and moving melody, and lively rhythm. They show the scenery of the Inner Mongolian prairie, and a lively, gratifying pastoral scene, showing the spirit of the herdsmen in the new era. 4. Ensemble: I Love You, Snow in Saibei The work describes the beauty of pure snow with anthropomorphic techniques. It shows a spectacular picture of the glorious snow fluttering across the sky, displayed in front of the audience, and praises the lofty selfless dedication. 5. Banhu Solo: Crescent at the night

3 Player: Song Tienan Crescent of the Five Gorges is a Banhu solo based on a traditional Han folk song widely popular in Heilongjiang and Northeast China. The work is characterized by being simple, exquisite and graceful. 6. PiPa Solo: Ten Labyrinths Player: Jia Chanjuan Ten ambush is a PiPa solo from China, which is also one of the ten famous Chinese songs. The music is intense. It clearly shows the situation when Xiang Yu was cornered by the army. 7. Erhu Solo: Horse Racing Player: Song Tienan The piece is loved by people for its magnificent momentum, warm breath and unrestrained melody. Both the racers and the galloping horses are perfectly executed by the melody of the erhu. It describes Mongolian herdsmen celebrating horse racing. 8. Ensemble: Marken er mejet, Danish folk song 9. 4 Valerij Likhatchev Valerij Likhatchev is a professional opera singer, born in 1947 in Russia. As a child, he learned to play the harmonica and sang in local children s choirs. At six years of age, he made his radio debut. Eventually he was accepted into Moscow s Musical Academy, where he studied with professors Rozum, Nortsov, and Shiller. And from then on, his carrier progressed rapidly. The Stanislavski Theatre, The Moscow Chamber Choir, full time soloist with the Moscow Philharmonic, Radio shows and recordings, and a trainee in The Bolshoi Theatre. In 1989 Valeri Likhatchev immigrated to Denmark, where he now permanently resides. Ever since his first recital in Denmark, his reviews have been excellent. In Denmark, Valerij Likhatchev has taken part in many different concerts, including in Tivoli Concert Hall, with Denmark s Radio, The Royal Danish Opera and The Royal Danish Orchestra. His repertoire is very varied, from Italian operatic arias, to the old Russian romances and Russian folksongs. Semion Balschem Russian pianist Svetit Mesjac the children s balalaika orchestra The Russian children s balalaika orchestra Svetit Mesjac, which means the moon is shining, has existed for about 5 years. They became laureats of three musical competitions in Berlin (Kleine Sterne), Moscow (The Rose of the Winds, and in Finland (Bravo Turku). A project of The Russian House, Igor Panich, conductor. Hedonia String Quartet Hedonia is the greek goddess for happiness and the enjoyment of life -- which are this quartet s characteristics! The Hedonia String Quartet plays music from the heart, has a many-facited repertoire, and plays with great happiness -- happy about the music, happy about making music in good company, and happy about transmitting it to the audience! Hedonias members are Turi Vethal & Claus Kanneworff (violin), Jenny Lüning (viola) og Helene Jerg (cello). All four were educated at a conservatory, and have carriers involving both giving concerts and education. The quartet has only existed for two years, but its members have played together, in every possible constellation, for the past 27 years.

5 Heilongjiang Song and Dance Theatre National Folk Music Troupe The National Orchestra of Heilongjiang Provincial Song and Dance Theatre was established in In 1987, it was officially named the Heilongjiang Song and Dance Theatre Folk Orchestra. There are 69 performers. Over the past half century, many famous performers, conductors and composers have worked with the orchestra. At the same time, they have created a large number of musical works, with rich characteristics and personality. The National Orchestra has always been active in the domestic and international art scenes. It has participated in the Harbin Summer concerts, and has performed 13 national Sebei Spring folk concerts. * Wuxi Master Feng Shaoxian s 50th Anniversary Concert, performed by the renowned conductor Hu Bingxu, 2003 * Sheng Concert for 50 Years, performed by Mr. Tang Fu, 2008 * a large national orchestral concerto Man Ethnic style, 2013 * Wang Rui bamboo flute recital concert, 2014 * Saibei Jiangnan Zhonghuaqing situation - Liu Xijin works concert, 2015 * 2016 National art fund support project large original national orchestral fun drunk Guandong grand staged. The orchestra has visited Japan, Canada, Denmark, Switzerland, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Singapore, South Korea, Guinea, Iraq, North Korea, Russia, India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Macau, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and other countries and regions. Li Jidong, Bamboo Flute Artist Li Jidong is a national first-level artist who works at the Heilongjiang Song and Dance Theatre National Folk Music. He is the deputy director of the folk orchestra, and a member of the Heilongjiang Provincial Musicians Association. He has held personal solo concerts at the Harbin Concert Hall in He won the first prize at the 2010 and 2014 National Bamboo Flute Invitation Contests. He has performed in Japan, Russia, Denmark, Switzerland and other countries and areas.

6 Song Tienan, Erhu Artist He is the national second-level player of the National Song and Dance Orchestra of Heilongjiang Province, and the chief of the erhu vocal department. He has performed in Russia, Denmark, and Switzerland. Jia Chanjuan, Pipa Artist Jia Chanjuan, a national first-level performer, graduated from the China Conservatory of Music and and further studies. She won several first prizes in the Heilongjiang Province Instrumental Competition, and successfully held personal solo concerts in She has performed in Japan, Vietnam, Poland, Hungary, Germany, Denmark, Switzerland and other countries. Wang Nan, Yang Qin Artist Wang Nan is a Yangqin artist in the Heilongjiang Provincial Song and Dance Theatre Folk Orchestra. She is an executive member of the Yangqin Professional Committee of Heilongjiang Province. She has visited Switzerland, Denmark, Russia and other countries and areas. She has won the CCTV National Folk Instrumental Competition Outstanding Performance Award.

7 Valdemar Wenzel Most Russian pianist, 12 years old. Dominik Wizjan Dominik Wizjan (born in 1994) is a Polish pianist. He began playing the piano at the age of 6. In 2011, he made his debut with an orchestra in the Mieczyslaw Karlowicz Philharmonic in Szczecin. In the same year, he was invited for the Youth Chopin Interpretations festival for the most prominent young pianists. After receiving a prize at the 2nd West Pomeranian Piano Competition (2012), he got a chance to perform with a Polish-German orchestra Pomerania, under the baton of Jacek Kraszewski. During his last year of study in Poland, he was already accepted for a Bachelor programme at The Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen, in Amalie Malling s piano class. This year, after two years of a Master programme, and collaboration with Marianna Shirinyan, Dominik graduated from the RDAM. Dominik is an active participant in various festivals, courses and masterclasses, where he has worked with some renowned pianists and professors, such as Kevin Kenner, Katarzyna Popowa-Zydron, Alberto Nose, Juhani Lagerspetz, Niklas Sivelov and many others. He has played recitals in concert halls in Poland, Germany, Austria, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Italy. His recent achievements include 1st prize at the RDAM Piano Competition in Copenhagen (2017), 1st prize in the 5th International Piano Competition in San Dona di Piave, Venice (2017) and 3rd prize in the 1st International Music Festival and Competition in Yerevan, Armenia (2017). In 2018, Dominik is going to release his debut CD, consisting exclusively of Polish piano music, under the KNS Classical label. The Schiller Institute Chorus The German poet Friedrich Schiller was convinced that the road to political freedom is through beauty, which has the capacity to enoble the soul. The Schiller Institute, and cooperating musicians, perform and spread the knowledge of classical music, and the beautiful music of other cultures. The members of The Schiller Institute chorus are active in The Schiller Institute s campaign for establishing a new, just, world economic order, and a scientific and cultural renaissance. Five of them have also been candidates for political office in Denmark. They are all taking private singing lessons with Leena Malkki. 8 Leena Malkki As a child soloist, Leena received recognition at an early age. She was classicly educated in Paris, where she was the pupil of Robert Delmas, Raphael Sikorski and David Jones at the private Laboratoire de la Voix singing school. Leena has sung the roles of the Countess in The Marriage of Figaro, Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni, Elisabetta in Maria Stuart, Vitellia in The Clemency of Titus, the title role Gioconda in La Gioconda, and Desdemona in Otello. She has sung as a freelance soprano, and has been the producer for Operafabriken in Malmø since Operafabriken will perform Bellini s opera Norma, at the proper concert pitch of C=256 Hz, with Leena singing the title role, in Denmark (on August 9-10 in the Helsingør Teaterhus), and in Sweden. Dona nobis pacem Give us peace At a time when there is still too much political tension in the world, and the nations of the world ought to, instead, work together for the common goals of mankind, it is extremely important that we build bridges, of every kind, between the nations of the world, and the many different cultures. When we experience the beauty of other cultures, mutual understanding is created, and a basis for cooperation and peace. Classical art is, therefore, an important key to such a dialogue between cultures, and that is why we are holding this concert!
