Small and light weight, these all solid-state sopes are ideal for both field and laboratory use. VARABLE PERSSTENCE AND STORAGE-or normal op- eration. The 181A lets you hange the athode ray tube harateristis at will. Persistene may be varied up to a minute in duration, just by turning a knob. THE SCOPE WTH AN ADJUSTABLE MEMORY _~ The 181A main frame gives you all the advantages of the 180A main frame-plus the exlusive benefits of variable persistene and storage. The hp 181A has a post aelerator CRT-with unique mesh storage. By turning a knob, you an adjust the 181A s memory span (trae persistene) from 0.2 seonds to more than a minute. This exlusive hp variable persistene allows you to adjust the CRT persistene to math the hanging harateristis of a signal-any neessary number of traes an be held for trend omparisons, or for fliker-free displays. The hp mesh storage tube offers many advantages. The stored trae has the same high ontrast as a onventional CRT. ntermediate trae values stand out learly, you an easily distinguish between several separate trae intensities. Maximum viewing intensity in write view mode is 200 foot lamberts.
