The two or three Masterpat iruit breakers or swith-disonnetors used are mehanially interloked to prevent ertain ombinations of operations. All types of Masterpat devies may be fitted (fixed and drawout versions, three-pole and four-pole, different ratings). The devies may be arranged: vertially, i.e. stak-mounted and interonneted by a set of rods; horizontally (two only), i.e. side-by-side and interonneted by a set of ables. An eletrial interlok must be used when the soure hangeover is part of an mati system. Controller mati soure-hangeover system with 2 devies A Masterpat mati sourehangeover system with 2 devies is made up of: 1 - iruit breaker Q onneted to the "ormal" soure; 2 - iruit breaker Q onneted to the "eplaement" soure; - mehanial interloking system by rods or ables; mati ontrol of the system an be provided by adding: 4 - eletrial interloking unit VE; 5 - auxiliaries ontrol plate ACP; 6 - ontroller BA or UA. Eah Masterpat iruit breaker is equipped with: a motor mehanism; a shunt release (MX); a «ready to lose» ontat (PF); a blok of 4 hangeover swithes (F); an additional terminal blok (BS) and a blok of 4 «onneted» position swithes (CE) for soure-hangeover systems made up of drawout breakers. The hangeover system with interloking by onneting rods is also available in a version whih is fatory mounted on a steel frame.
