Event goers will enjoy a menu of beer-centric small bite food pairings included in the ticket price. As part of the admission price, each guest receives a souvenir Bonteboktoberfest tasting glass, 12 drink tickets and small bite food pairings. Additional drink vouchers are available for purchase if your glass runs dry as well as food truck menu choices for the bigger appetites. Bonteboktoberfest is a fundraising event named for the bontebok, a rare species of antelope found in the Western Cape Area of South Africa and in Wild Africa at Binder Park Zoo. The bontebok is a Species Survival Plan (SSP) animal through the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA). Proceeds from Bonteboktoberfest help support zoo operations. Binder Park Zoo is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that receives no tax funding. Page 1/16

McDonald's encourages the community to come and see their favorite principal and teachers and raise money for educational programs. 4 October 19, October 21, 2018 Tibbits Young Audiences presents: The Snow White Variety Show 07:00 PM - 09:00 PM EST Andrew Harmon, boxoffice@tibbits.org All the fun of just about every TV-show genre you can imagine is jam-packed into this wild and fast-paced comedy! You will become the live studio audience on a talk show, Real Talk with Fairytale Legends, where the seven dwarves tell the story of Snow White. Each new dwarf takes a turn telling part of Snow White s famous story in his or her own unique voice. At any given moment, the story can be anything romance, comedy, home improvement show, suspense, Western, epic poetry, mystery, cooking show, stand-up routine, or blockbuster action movie! There s even a Miss Fairest of Them All beauty pageant! It all culminates in a mad-dash ending of fast-changing genres that sets the record straight on Snow White s happily-ever-after. Show Dates: October 19, 7pm and 2pm Tibbits Young Audiences produces two shows yearly with a full cast of about 50 students. A play in the fall and a musical in the spring provide students an enjoyable introduction to the world of theatre. By putting on a show they learn teamwork, discipline, theatre skills, self-confidence and an appreciation for the arts. Shows are open to youth in fourth through eighth grade. In addition to building new homes, Habitat repairs and renovates existing homes, leads neighborhood revitalization efforts, advocates for fair housing policies, helps communities cleanup and rebuild after natural disaster, and accepts and resells donated items through the Restore.
