2 Advice column Dear Aunt Frazzle, Sometimes I feel very lonely, it's hard sometimes to find someone to play with the whole recess. Even though I have great friends, I have a blank space. Yours, The Blank Space Student Dear the blank space student, One piece of advice I have is you could look for people who also look lonely on the playground. Ask them if they want to play something, try to figure out if you have any thing in common, or ask them why they are alone. Maybe they will share why with you. Another thing you can do is try to close that blank space. You can ask some of your friends if they want to hang out after school and maybe they will play with you more. Sometimes spending individual time with friends is a good way to improve your friendship. Dear aunt frazzle, There was this girl and she would make fun of me and didn t like me and said mean things to my friends behind my back and thought I was taking her best friend away from her. But now she is a really good friend of mine but is being rude to my best friend. Sincerely, I don t know what to do Dear I don t know what to do, This sounds like a very confusing problem. If this situation has gone this far I believe one goods tragedy is to just ask for help from a grown up. Another thing that matters is how many people know about this problem. If all your friends know about this problem then it s a bad and good thing. If all friends know about it, then it could be hopeless to resolve the problem. They might start taking sides. Then you have a huge rivalry with all your friends. But maybe it is a good idea to tell someone who is close to this person. This friend could be being rude for a reason you never expected. Someone who is close to this friend might help you figure out what is wrong and you can talk it out and resolve the problem. Julia Young

5 Pluto has an Ocean? Astronomers have just found out evidence that proves that Pluto might have a underground ocean! In some pictures taken by NASA, a big crater in the shape of a heart the size of Texas was discovered on Pluto's surface. Scientists say that maybe after the tick layers of ice in the crater, there may be an underground ocean. Scientists believe if there's an ocean there may be life even though the ocean is frozen. 7 The City of Ember By Jeanne DuPrau Summary: In the book the city of Ember is surrounded by darkness. The only light is in the city. The builders of the city have left instructions in case the city loses power, which all the power is held in a run down generator underground in the pipeworks. The instructions are lost, and the city is losing power. Lina Mayfleet and Doon Harrow go looking for the instructions. Read the book to see if the city evacuates out of the city safely, or if the instructions are lost forever and they can t escape. Recommendation: I recommend this book a 10 because it is very exciting and suspenseful and a little bit funny. I recommend this book to people who love adventure books. Also, after you read the book, there is a movie about it! Both boys and girls and adults will absolutely love it! By: Sean Levesque Question: What is the theme of the book?
8 My Dad Was Finally Home I was waiting for my dad. He was in another state for a week to do work. So I was waiting impatiently in front of the door. I was not doing anything not watching tv, not reading a book, nothing. When I called him he said he will be there ten minutes. But there was traffic on the way home so, it took him 30 minutes. When I heard the lock of the door unlocked I immediately stood up and gave him a big huge hug. I was so happy he was home. 9 Alexander Hamilton's island trip Alexander Hamilton is a famous and important part of American history. He was one of America's founding fathers. He shaped America into what is an amazing place where so many people live. He was born in Nevis in 1757 until he turned eight. Fans of the show Hamilton are visiting the island where he is born. People who run hotels in this island think that all the fans coming will help their business. Lupinacci is the of the hotel Hermitage, which Alexander would have known. Everyone who is a fan of the show Hamilton well, watch out! Because if you're planning to go to this island, hold onto your parents, because you're going to get mobbed! And you might just see the actor Lin Manuel Miranda playing Alexander Hamilton. Zoe Wang

13 Om Patel Do you think Aliens really exist on mars? Yes I do. Not specifically on mars but on other plants. I think this because we all come from somewhere. I don t really go to church and stuff because I don t believe in those things. So kind of yes I do believe in aliens....ivy I think aliens do exist but not on mars because if they existed on mars the NASA would know that and they would inform us and let us know if they exist on mars but they don t exist on mars. I think the NASA has explored the mars little more that would prove there are no aliens on mars. But they could be on another planet far far away. Om Well I think it depends because yes there might have been or will but no since we don t have lots of prove that aliens are in mars or even exist....mariana I think that aliens exist because if there's no aliens how do the NASA say that they don't exist if they haven't found any footprints on mars. UFO sightings in pop culture providing a cohesive image of extra terrestrials for eye witnessed to draw on should someone cry alien. But what s slightly harder to dismiss is the ancient evidence. Some also say that they have seen one and took a image. In the 15th century, it depicts the Virgin Mary and in the backdrop of the painting, a man and his dog staring up at a hovering disk-like object that is suspiciously familiar. Some say that UFO might be an actual one. NASA and the mars rover have also found footprints and all the astronauts do not claim them. It is also found that National Geographic and they believe they found tracks and fading away....prachet I believe there is aliens on mars. I just wouldn't call them aliens. There could be little bugs or animals that are hard to see. I think mars is so big you would have to see every single thing. We could be missing something hiding in plain sight....julia
