GRAND LODGE CONVENTION CANTON LODGE REPRESENTATIVES REPORT OF THE GRAND LODGE CONVENTION The 2013 Grand Lodge Convention was held on May 16 th and 17 th at the Holiday Inn Hyannis, MA. There were 28 Voting Members on Thursday and 30 on Friday. The following Documents were discussed and disposition is as follows: Supreme Document which changes the number of years a Grand Treasurer must serve (from 6 to 5) to earn the title of Past Grand Chancellor was passed unanimously. This brings it in line with other Grand Lodge Officers. Document to set the Grand Lodge Convention to a specific Thursday and Friday after Mother s Day was defeated 24 to 1 with 3 abstentions. This would have locked us in to an inflexible time to hold the Convention. Document passed to redefine the Past Grand Chancellor s Association. Purpose is to advise and mentor Grand Lodge Officers if requested.

As I was waiting in line behind an older gentleman at Wendy's recently, I heard him ask for his senior discount. The girl at the register apologized and charged him less. When I asked the man what the discount was, he told me those seniors over age 55 gets 10% off everything on the menu, every day.
