WHO: We welcome auditions fo people of all ages! Childen must be 7 yeas old at the time of audition. COST: Fo actos, singes, and dances: $125 fo childen ages 712, $75 fo youth ages 1317, $50 fo adults 18+. Scholaships and payment plans ae available fo those in need of financial assistance. HOW TO AUDTON: Goups of 15 pefomes will sing, and dance in one hou blocks. You may audition fo a specific ole o fo the ensemble. The dance audition will be movement based. No fomal dance taining is necessay. SONG SELECTON: We want you to be comfotable and confident at auditions. f you have a musical theate song that is in the style/ange of the chaacte(s) that you will be auditioning fo, then PLEASE audition with that song. o Please pepae bas of any musical theate song (enough to cove one vese and one chous). f thee is a key change o lage note at the end, sing those notes if they ae comfotable. o f you ae completely stuck o do not have othe mateial, feel fee to sing fom the show. The beloved book and scoe by Tony Awad winnes, Thomas Meehan, Chales Stouse and Matin Chanin, featues some of the geatest musical theate hits eve witten, including "Tomoow." With equal measues of pluck and positivity, little ophan Annie chams eveyone's heats despite a nexttonothing stat in 1930s New Yok City. She is detemined to find the paents who abandoned he yeas ago on the doostep of a New Yok City Ophanage that is un by the cuel, embitteed Miss Hannigan. With the help of the othe gils in the Ophanage, Annie escapes to the wondous wold of NYC. n adventue afte funfilled adventue, Annie foils Miss Hannigan's evil machinations... and even befiends Pesident Fanklin Delano Roosevelt! Annie has been a mainstay in the theate since its elease in 1977 and now, 40 yeas late, we ae excited to bing it to ou summe theate expeience. This ensemble cast show tells a stoy of a little gil who is looking fo love in the cold, hash ealities of a wold that is not made fo he, and she finds that love in the unlikeliest of places Olive Wabucks. Moe than the familia tunes, Annie povides us an oppotunity to tell a stoy with heat, compassion and tuth. Please bing any conflicts with you to auditions. f we ae awae of conflicts in advance, we can be sue to plan aound them. Howeve, the weeks of JULY 16 and JULY 23 ae mandatoy and cannot be accommodated. Q: Why do have to pay? A: Registation fees ae paid to the City of Westeville Paks and Receation Depatment. The pupose of this show is educate and to tain. You ae egisteing and paying a fee fo a couse offeed though the Paks and Receation Depatment. Registation fees include: Qualified instuction, all eheasal mateials, a tshit, two complimentay tickets to the pefomance of you choosing. Scholaships and payment plan options ae available fo those who equie financial assistance. Q: When ae eheasals? A: Reheasals will begin fo eveyone MAY 30. The beakdown is listed below. An infomational meeting will be held on Thusday, May 25 fo those cast in the poduction. Paents of childen cast should also plan on attending. Please note: Reheasal dates and times may shift due to availability of space and pesonnel. May 30 July 15 o Reheasal will be MONDAY thu FRDAY, 6 PM 9 PM o Ensemble membes should plan on attending thee eheasals pe week. These eheasals will be a mixtue of singing, acting, and dance. o Featued dances and singes should plan on attending fou eheasals a week. o Leading chaactes will most likely be called to eheasal five days a week.
