Enticed by advertisements for the newly restored Marigold Hotel and bolstered with visions of a life of leisure, they arrive to find the palace a shell of its former self. Though the new environment is less luxurious than imagined, they are forever transformed by their shared experiences, discovering that life and love can begin again when you let go of the past. We are looking for assistance stuffing the goody bags for this year s Drumstick Dash. The Drumstick Dash is the kids race that takes place after the Turkey Trot. We anticipate approximately 100 dashers and would like to have the goody bags ready to go in advance. Coffee and light breakfast refreshments will be served. Michigan Avenue in the heart of the hustle and bustle of downtown, Café Spiaggia is sure to be a treat for all. 6 January & February Previews Sunset Boulevard at Drury Lane Sunset Boulevard was a 1950 American film noir nominated for eleven Academy Awards, starring Gloria Swanson and directed by Cecil B. DeMille. Roger Ebert hailed Sunset Boulevard as "the best drama ever made about the movies." The Tony Award-winning stage production, a visually spectacular tale featuring breathtaking music by the legendary Andrew Lloyd Webber, weaves a magnificent tale of faded glory and unfulfilled ambition. Silent movie star Norma Desmond longs for a return to the big screen, having been discarded by Tinseltown with the advent of "talkies." Her glamour has faded in all but her mind. When she meets the struggling Hollywood screenwriter Joe Gillis through dramatic circumstances, their subsequent passionate and volatile relationship leads to an unforeseen and tragic conclusion.
