8 BOOTH CONSTRUCTION The AANS follows the Iteratioal Associatio of Exhibitios ad Evets (IAEE) guidelies for display rules ad regulatios. For details, please visit All booths are 10' x 10 or multiples thereof. No-islad booths will be equipped with a 8-ft.-high back drape ad 3-foot side rail. No-islad booths will be provided with a 7" x 44" idetificatio sig displayig the exhibitor s ame ad booth umber. All exhibitors are required to provide floor coverig for their booth space. You may order carpet from the service cotractor or place your ow carpet. Every booth must be costructed or arraged i such a maer as to be able to accommodate its viewig audiece iside the booth i order to discourage the formatio of a stadig crowd i the aisles. Demostratio areas may ot be set o the aisle lie of the exhibit. All exhibits must be cofied to the limits of their respective booth(s) as idicated o the floor pla, ad all equipmet, products or materials to be show or demostrated must be placed withi the exhibitor s cotracted exhibit space i order to esure that the attedees viewig the exhibit will stad withi the said space ad ot i the aisles. All exposed parts of displays must be fiished so as to preset a attractive appearace whe viewed from the aisles or from adjoiig exhibits. If other exhibitors or the AANS object to ay exposed portios of a display, the exposed portios will be draped by the AANS ad billed to the exhibitor. All tables used i a exhibit space must be skirted. 14 Liear ad Corer Booths Liear ad corer booths must ot exceed 8 feet i height. The 8 foot height limit is allowed i the rear half of the booth space, with a 4 foot height restrictio imposed o all materials i the remaiig space forward to the aisle. Islad Booths A islad booth is a ope area of exhibit space with aisles o all four sides that must provide accessibility from all four sides. Islad booths may occupy 100% of the retal space but must maitai a 50% see-through/walk-through effect. All islad booths must submit their booth layout for approval by the AANS. If the desig is ot submitted ad the costructio is determied to be i violatio of the above restrictios, the AANS has the right to prohibit assembly of the booth or to order disassembly whe ad if a violatio becomes apparet. The exhibitor must secure the ecessary safety certificate ad local fire ad buildig code approvals for two-story booths. The maximum height for the top of ay baer or compoet is 25 feet. Booths that exceed 750 square feet of space with eclosed perimeter walls will require at least two separate exits. Additioal exits may be required o a case-by-case basis. Capacity will be computed at 15 square feet per perso. Multi-level Exhibits A multi-level exhibit is a islad exhibit booth with a secod level. All requiremets for islad exhibit booths apply to multi-level exhibit booths. Multi-level booths will be assessed a $22/square foot rate for the secod floor s dimesios. RULES AND REGULATIONS Iterpretatio of Rules The followig Rules ad Regulatios are part of the cotract betwee the exhibitor ad the AANS ( the Associatio ). All matters ot covered i these Rules ad Regulatios shall be referred to the Associatio for adjudicatio, ad the decisio of the Associatio shall be fial. These Rules ad Regulatios may be ameded at ay time by the Associatio ad all the amedmets so made shall be bidig upo the exhibitor equally with these Rules ad Regulatios, ad shall become a part thereof, providig the exhibitor is otified of the amedmets. Americas with Disabilities Act Exhibitig compaies are required to be i compliace with the Americas with Disabilities Act (ADA) withi its booth ad assiged space. Acillary Fuctio Space If you require meetig room space for compay sales meetigs or other Associatio-approved activity, you are required to complete the acillary fuctio space form, ad retur it to the AANS Meetig Services Departmet by Ja. 2, Space will be assiged o a first-come, first-served basis upo submissio of the proper forms. If childre are preset, they will be required to leave the hall immediately. Compressed Gases/Flammable Liquids/Aerosols Exhibitors are ot permitted to brig i ay type of cylider gas. Safety Regulatios require all cylider gases to be purchased ad maaged through Freema. Cyliders of compressed gas, both combustible ad o-combustible, shall be istalled oly by permit from the fire departmet ad shall be half-charged ad firmly secured i a upright positio. The exhibitor must agree to idemify the Associatio, its Board of Directors, employees ad vedors i the evet of ay claims arisig from the operatio of the evet. The Associatio must be otified of the wiers ad whe the prize was awarded. The Associatio reserves the right to restrict cotests or drawigs that it deems iappropriate or uprofessioal.
