Across the world religion is an important, sometimes a crucial, issue in attempts to bring about reconciliation, stability and development. Jonathan Phillips was closely and significantly involved for many years with the Northern Ireland peace process and it is difficult to think of a better person in the UK to speak on this topic. If you are interested in the role of faith in peace processes, politics and communities, or how a person of faith faces these difficult conversations, then this evening is for you. Wednesday 13 and Thursday 14 February 7.00pm The Middle School Play Romeo and Juliet Tickets 6 (Concessions 4) William Shakespeare s magnificent Romeo and Juliet has been told innumerable times, in a million different ways. It is a story we all know the feuding families, the star-crossed lovers, the tragic end. But despite the fact that it is a very old play, it still has a young heart, and is as pertinent and thrilling today as it ever has been. In this production a cast of Middle School pupils tackle this dazzling tragedy they love, they fight, they bleed, they die. Young, vibrant and visceral this production is not for the faint-hearted.

As a trio they have featured in festivals throughout Europe as well as in London s Wigmore Hall, St John s Smith Square and South Bank, and have performed the Beethoven Triple Concerto with the London Philharmonic and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestras. They were winners of the 2005 Parkhouse International Chamber Music Competition and the 2004 South East Music Schemes.

There was a man, there was nobody In 1976 a bemused Iranian man arrives on a military jet in London. He holds nothing but a suitcase, a complicated past, and a love of backgammon. Stunning acrobatics and a breathtaking live score are used to tell the story of Roshan, a charming but ultimately flawed man, and his numerous adventures in a foreign and often frightening land. Backgammon becomes a seduction tool, cockney accents cause confusion and the Iran he once knew disappears after the Islamic revolution of Award-winning So & So Circus s notto-be-missed show is at once funny, touching and entertaining, and features acrobatics as you have never seen them before.
