3 CONSOLE DESIGN 1. CDJs must be at the same height as the mixer and must not be raised up or positioned on stands. 2. Decks must be draped at the front & sides to hide wiring. 3. All cables to/from and in the vicinity of DJ booth/table must be taped securely to avoid any potential trip hazards or potential interruption to power or audio. 4 AMAAL MALIK LIVE (Day 3,March 3 rd SAC) STAGE DETAILS The Band will need a minimum space of 50 ft *30 ft of performance area of stage. Width: Sixty Feet (50 ) / m Depth: Forty Feet (30 ) / m Height: Six Feet (6 ) / 1.8 m (Outdoor Venue) Height: Three and Half Feet (03.5 ) / 1.06 m (Indoor Venue) Drum Riser: Dimensions 10ft * 10ft * 1ft Percussion Riser: Dimensions 8ft * 8ft * 1ft Keyboard Riser: Dimensions 8ft * 8ft * 1ft CONSOLE The mix position should be located at in the center of the Venue Floor. If this preference cannot be accommodated, notify me in advance. The distance from the front edge of the base stage must be set at Fifty to Sixty Feet (50-60 ) m. 5 Main PA: Flying three/ Four Way Line Array System (preferred systems mentioned below) in an LR + centre fill + sub configuration (through matrix outs). The system (Main PA) should be time aligned as per manufacturer recommendation for a uniform and focused sound. Required SPL at mix position: 115db A weighted Preferred systems (in order of preference, with factory paired subs): Outdoor Venue. Recommended setup: 8 to 10 tops on each side (total 16 to 20), 12 to 16 subs + front fills OR as per venue/stage size. L Acoustics K1/K2, Meyer LEO Series, D&B GSL Series, JBL VTX V25-II, ONLY. Indoor Venue. JBL VTX A12, JBL VTX V20, JBL Vertec 4888 D&B J 12 Series OR D&B V12 Series. Recommended setup: 6 tops on each side (total L+R= 12), 6 to 8 subs OR as per venue/stage size. Center Fill. Same as the Main PA system. Kindly have a laptop with network (preferably wireless) access to the crossover/ amplifiers placed at FOH and a system engineer who is familiar with the system to assist our FOH engineer. All delays (LR/Sub/C. fill) should be running from within the network manager and needs to be configured by the supplier prior to sound check. Monitor Mix: Minimum 64 inputs/32 outputs large format digital console Preferred digital mixer (in order of preference) Monitor console: Digidesign S6L, Soundcraft Vi7000,Vi6 OR Vi3000. (ONLY) Monitor mix console should be at stage height or one foot higher than stage level. All wedges (stage front, FOH, Monitor mix) should be of the same identical model. Kindly carry spares in case of functionality issues/last minute changes to the lineup. Wireless IEM 10 Nos. Manufacturer: Shure PSM1000/900 series (with passive boosters, flag antenna combiners and SE215/315 or higher earpieces) Sennheiser 2000 series (with AC-3 wireless aggregators and passive omni directional antennae and stock ear pieces). Stock (small) antennae are NOT acceptable. This is NON NEGOTIABLE. All wireless microphones should be in a different wireless band/range than the IEM systems. (Consult input list for exact nos.). Please intimate at the earliest ANY changes to the technical rider. The band need at least 3 hours for sound check and rehearsal. Please note, this does not include setup/patch time. If your sound is not in 100% working order, then we will need extra time to sort out your problems. It would be best if the entire setup is line checked working 100% before the band and crew are called for a sound check. There must be at all times at least two (2) technical staff members from the sound vendor to assist the sound engineers, one (1) system engineer and 4 stage hands with a clear communication system to and fro. The FOH console enclosure must be in the middle of the venue, where the maximum crowd will be for adequate reference. The 2 speaker stacks and sound console must form an equilateral triangle. Please consult pri or to placement. Please ensure sun & rain water coverage at FOH position and monitor world. 10

12 There should be adequate security around the FOH console area with free access to the stage. There should be NO master compression or hard limiting on the PA. Please communicate with the engineer(s) in case of any level worries. We respect your equipment and would take utmost care of it, but please do not impose any hard limiting. The crossover/speaker management system/network management system needs to be unlocked and placed at the console. The FOH engineer must have FULL access to your system. The monitor console needs to be at extreme stage left. It should, additionally, have an unhindered view of the stage to maintain adequate communication with the artists, and should be at stage level. Kindly place all wireless racks next to the monitor console for easy access and to keep a check on levels. Plenty (enough for 3 refills) of fresh batteries must be kept for all wireless body packs and microphones. Please ensure proper cable management the stage needs to be as clean and uncluttered as possible to maintain a smooth workflow. We will need total 6nos of Portable Fans on Stage and FOH Area. 13 LIGHTS REQUIREMENTS Lights to be provided as follows for all days: - 8nos. Moving head on the rear of the venue to be placed atop the stage (no truss) nos. LED pars to be mounted on the rear of the stage (frame already present). Pars on either side of the stage/tripod for general illumination of stage. On final two days 2nos. Blinders for audience to be mounted on goal post truss for DJ night and only Roof truss(stage dimensions: 50 x 30 ft) for Bollywood night. Par cans to be mounted on this towards stage and audience.
