1 PRE-VISIT CHECKLIST Log on to the new CAST portal to schedule your location assignments and tasks. The visit forms and instructions are also located here: For any other documentation or instructions visit Print for carrying into the store: -Visit Instructions - Store Map Don t Forget! -Double check and print the store floorplan. -Some locations are relocating multiple LCD monitors and some stores you will remove them altogether this month. You will need to reallocate LCD monitors in stores with missing or damaged LCD monitors. The remaining removed LCD monitors will need to be boxed, labeled, and left at the store for FedEx pickup. The labels are in PDF format and can be printed from your portal. These notices will be sent to you in a separate if applicable. -Bring tools provided to you by CAST. -Bring camera or cell phone to take photos. -Bring CAST USB sticks with any needed content downloaded. -Charge your cell phone. 3 1 TOYS R US HOTLINE: When you arrive at the store: Sign into the vendor log book. Introduce yourself to the manager and explain the program if needed. Ask the manager if they have any POP signage or parts that may need to be installed. Remember to check ALL LCD screens and make sure they are functioning. Report any issues or parts needed for any of the LCD screens we service that are on the Toys R Us Floorplan. Check your app to see if your store(s) require a LCD relocation, removal, content update, and/or POP installation. This notice was sent to you in a separate if applicable. Instructions to relocate the screens are found here: 2 LCD MAINTENANCE PROGRAM LCD Relocation, Removal, and Repurpose (Select Stores) Locate the LCD Screen(s) that need to be moved or removed. You will need to refer to the updated TRU Floor Plan to determine where the LCD monitor needs to be relocated to. You will need to repurpose the removed LCD monitors in stores with missing or damaged LCD monitors. The remaining removed LCD monitors will need to be boxed, labeled, and left at the store for FedEx pickup. The labels are in PDF format and can be printed from your portal.

4 TOYS R US HOTLINE: 3 LCD Content Change (IF NEEDED) Locate the LCD Screen that needs the content updated on your TRU Floor Plan. The objective is to install new video content onto the LCD screen(s) that are not showing the video. On the left side of the LCD monitor, you will need to remove the side panel signage and cortex cover to the LCD monitor to get to the USB port on the LCD monitor. Remove the left side TRU branded signage. These are held on with white clips.

5 4 TOYS R US HOTLINE: LCD Content Change Next you will need to remove the screws from the side panel of the LCD monitor to get to the USB port. Using the Philips head screwdriver, remove the screws from the side panel. The USB port will now be exposed. Unplug the LCD monitor and put the CAST USB stick with correct video content into the USB port. Plug the LCD monitor back in. 5 LCD Content Change The video content should start uploading and may take a few minutes. Once the video content has uploaded, verify that the correct video is playing. Unplug the CAST USB stick and screw the USB cover back onto the LCD monitor. Place cortex cover and side panel back on the display. Please take a photo of the full display with store # and picture code in the photo. Video content uploading to the LCD monitor.

6 6 TOYS R US HOTLINE: LCD SD Card Replacement General Instructions If Needed* You will need to remove the screws from the right side panel of the LCD monitor to get to the SD Card port. Using the Philips head screwdriver, remove the screws from the side panel. Remove the SD card from the LCD.

Did your store have LCD monitors missing content or playing the wrong content on your last visit? Please load all available USB drives with the necessary content prior to your store visit. Call your TOM if you don t remember which additional content you need.
