2 Colour palette. Our proposal is to continue using the existing YFTF colour palette for the upcoming 16/17 campaign. There is one exception to this however. One colour we intend to exclude from the campaign is the YFTF yellow. This colour does not translate well in printed media or in digital where we will be predominately using white and grey type. Over the following pages we will detail how we intend to use the YFTF palette across print, OOH, digital and CRM. 3 DfE logo. The colour bar on the DfE logo appears in P2955c as per guidelines, this colour is not used anywhere else within the creative work. 4 Print / OOH. As we will not be using large blocks of colour in print and OOH, we would recommend having 7 core colour options (plus core grey for copy). These will be used to give stand out in printed media. We would look to finalise the exact colours from this palette in more depth when the photographic elements of the campaign have been shot, but any colours used would be from the 7 options shown on this page. 5 Digital. As previously mentioned we will be using large areas of block colour on the digital elements of this campaign to give stand out against webpage media in which it will be appearing. We know we will be using sequential messaging in digital so we need to allow for flexibility when it comes to the colour palette to allow this to have maximum impact. 6 Use of the YFTF branding on colour. Under the existing guidelines, where the YFTF logo is used over a solid area of tone or colour it should be completly white out. We believe for the purposes of this campaign it would be advantageous to use a the main colour for the YOUR FUTURE THEIR FUTURE line. This helps separate the messaging and create clearer hierarchy, therefore closer aligning with how the logo appears on white. 8 CRM. The nature of the CRM programme and the number of s within it naturally lends itself for more colour variety, so we would therefore suggest making all colours from the palette available except yellow. For the main CRM campaign the initial registration would have its own colour, as it is stand alone. For the s, we could utilise 5 colours within the palette. Given the nature of the s and the fact that they are a follow up to the Breadth , we propose keeping the same colour each week for both the s to keep a connection between them. For plug-in s, the full palette is available excluding the yellow.
