DONORPROFILE I wish you the best of luck! From all my heart, Ray, age 21 FACTS: ID-release donors decision in 18 years Height: 176 Weight: 73 Hair colour: Blond Blodtype: B Rh Pos Occupation: Musician Read an English version on page 2
2/13 / Meeting the donor our impression Ray is a cool and dishy young man. Ray is a very talented sing and songwriter; he plays the guitar and sings his own songs. Both Ray s parents are doctors, but he wants to go in another direction in life. He dreams of building a career as a musician, and he is planning an education at an academy of music. The staff are sure that he will reach his goal as he seems quite focused and has a great charisma. Ray has an out-going and humorous personality, and when he comes by, he is always pleasant and with a smile on his face. Ray has a casual and modern look. His well-proportioned body and friendly warm eyes make him look both gentle and masculine at the same time. English version of the letter on the front page: Hey, I m Ray, it seems :-) Actually, Ray is not my real name, but the name you know me by. I hope that I will be able to help you. It is my wish to contribute to making your family grow. I wish you the best of luck! From all my heart, Ray, age 21
Extended profile 3/13 / Appearance Race Caucasian Ethnicity Danish Height 176 cm Weight 73 kg Eye colour Blue Hairvolume (thick, thin, average, bald) Thick Body frame size (small, medium, large) Physique (muscular, regular, heavy) Muscular Which famous person or celebrity do you identify with? No one, but a friend told me I look like Tom Hiddleston. Natural hair colour Blonde Clothing size (S,M,L,XL,XXL) Large Skin type dry Freckles No Eyebrow colour Blackish brown Beard colour Brown Hairtexture (curly, straight, wavy) Straight
4/13 / Health Do you exercise regularly? Yes. Cycling to and from work/as transportation in the city. Which sports do you play? I played basketball on a national level during my teenage years and went to efterskole (a Danish kind of boardingschool) to play it, but in recent years, I have only played basketball as a hobby. Do you smoke? If yes, how many a day on average? No. Do you suffer from allergies? No. Have you played other sports in the past? If yes, which ones? Athletics (sprint, long jump and shot put). Glasses or corrective lenses? I use lenses on both eyes (-2 on my left eye, and -2,5 on my right eye). Are you right- or left-handed? I am right-handed. Please describe the condition of your teeth? (good, average, bad) My teeth are good. How many standard drinks do you consume in an average week? A rough estimate is about 10 per week, but it varies. Some weeks I go a little crazy, other weeks I don t drink anything at all.
Extended profile 5/13 / Personality Describe your personality I see myself as a warm and forgiving person, and I value the people in my life very highly. However, this doesn t mean that I am not an independent person. Because I also love being alone and being able to focus on my own things. I love laughing and humour, but at the same time I appreciate deep subjects and philosophy. Describe your weaknesses One of my weaknesses is that I can sometimes create mental roadblocks. As a teenager, I would imagine how to talk to a girl instead of actually talking to her. This, of course, I got over, but I still experience the tendency in my behaviour sometimes. Describe your strengths I am smart and purposeful. When I put my mind to something, I pursue it. Also, I am good at letting the things that do not matter truly slide. What are you most proud of and why? I am most proud of my music, which is why I am pursuing a career in music. I find a lot of joy and answers in music, and people tell me that they feel the same way about the music I create. That kind of response makes me very proud and drives me. Describe your fondest childhood memory I remember as an 8-year-old building a tree house on top of a henhouse and then digging a giant 2-meter-deep hole that we would dip into from the tree house using a branch from a tree. A lot of fun. Describe some of your best experiences Standing on a stage and owning a crowd completely is like a drug to me. Every time I play a concert, I feel as good as I have ever felt. Also, I have some very strong memories of times with my best friends. Both while travelling Europa and USA with them, but also from those summernights, when everything just added up. Describe your relationship with your family? We have a close relationship, and especially my brothers mean the world to me. What does your family mean to you? Family means love, no matter what. What does friendship mean to you? Friendship means accepting and respecting each other. What kind of friend are you? I try to be an understanding friend, who is there when needed and for both the hard and the good times. Sometimes I have too much going on, and I forget to give my old friends the attention they deserve. How would your friends and family describe you? Hopefully they would describe me as I describe myself, or I am delusional. How are your math skills? My math skills are well above average, but I guess they have declined as I haven t really used them since I left high school. How are your motor skills? My motor skills are quite good. I usually catch what people throw at me. What is your zodiac sign? Aquarius. Which famous person or celebrity can you identify yourself with? That is a very hard question to answer since I don t know any of them, but I respect Leonardo DiCaprio for continuously speaking up about climate changes and using his social media platform mainly for this. What did you dream of becoming as a child? As a child I first wanted to be a deep sea diver, then a CEO and then a (Nobel prize-winning) scientist.
6/13 / Education and employment Did you do well, average or poorly in primary school? I did very well in school. What did you like best about going to school? I grew up in a rough school district, so school for me was mostly about learning and being together with the group of friends I could trust. What educations have you started? I have finished high school, but have not started further education to get a bachelor/university degree yet. What educations have you completed? Primary school and high school. Did you serve in the military? If yes, for how long and at what rank? No. Work history? Through the last year I have supported myself helping disabled people. Previously I have worked as a primary school substitute teacher and as a warehouse worker. What is your career goal? If I do not succeed in being able to live off my music in 3 years, I will study molecular biology or engineering as these subjects interest me (but aren t a passion as music is). / Hobbies Favourite movie? I have long held V for Vendetta as a favorite film, but Cubic changed my life. Favourite book? World War Z. What kind of music do you like? Favourite artists? I like all kinds of music. My first favorite band was Metallica, then Pantera, SOAD (System of a Down), Tool, John Mayer, Tame Impala and at the moment I am quite taken by Lianne La Havas. Do you play any instruments? I play a little trumpet and a lot of guitar. I sing as well. Creative skills? I write poetry sometimes and did publish a sonet ring with some other poets. It goes along great with my songwriting. Other hobbies, interests or talents? Those are the noteworthy. What languages do you speak? I speak Danish, English, a little German and a little French. How/where do you prefer to travel and why? I have mostly travelled as part of a group, but I interrailed across Europe and got to meet new people. That was a great experience.
Extended profile 7/13 / Marital status and children Are you married, in a relationship or single? I am in an open relationship. Do you have any children? Not yet. Have you or members of your family experienced difficulties when trying to conceive? No. If yes, what age and gender? Are there any twins or triplets in your family? No. / Why do you want to become a donor? The money is a great persuader, but honestly I feel like if I can help someone be happy by doing this, then everyone wins, and I feel really good about that.
