1 59 years of excellence in community theatre book by GEORGE ABBOTT and RICHARD BISSELL music and lyrics by RICHARD ADLER and JERRY ROSS directed by Steve Forrester June 2 - June 18, 2011 Pinnacle Playhouse Belleville, Ontario
2 CAST & ORCHESTRA ACTOR ROLE Corrie Allan Babe Al Zaback Sid John O Connor Hines Nancy Garrod Mabel David Kidd Prez. Tom Higginbottom Hasler Meaghan Lattanzio Gladys Donna Douglas Mae Wihse Green Joe Marvin Tucker Pop/Charley Brandon Bridgewater Lazy Bum/Max Teresa Allen Brenda Hanna Bernstein Mara/Carmen Katy Nicholas Poopsie Billy Sue Johnson Charlene Katie Gordon Sandra Logan Steer Worker ORCHESTRA John McFarlane Conductor Veronique Kwakkernaat Flute Linda Williamson Clarinet Andy Coffin Trumpet Doug Taylor Trumpet Rick Ritter Trumpet Alex Cole Trombone John Beach Bass Guitar Tom Dietzel Piano Nathan Mahaffy Percussion The action takes place in a small place in the Mid West in Mid Century. There will be one 20 minute intermission Produced by special arrangement with Music Theatre International The Pajama Game from the director I have loved Pajama Game for years- in fact, ever since seeing it on Broadway as a child when it won a batch of Tony awards. A story of romantic wrangling in the middle of labour strife accompanied by some of the catchiest songs I had ever heard, it became one of my favourite shows of all time. I got interested in directing it several years ago after seeing clips from a Broadway revival when it was winning yet another Tony. Obviously, the show wasn t out-dated and the music was still great. One problem however was all that dancing- not one of my strengths. Luckily, I was able to convince Moira to step in as choreographer and thanks to her and all the other cast and crew we have a show to be proud of. Wishing you a Once a Year Day. Steve Forrester
