41 Prior Learning If you have two items on a key, you have to shift for the one on the top. Example: hold down the left shift and key the semi-colon key to get the colon.

42 Relevance It is important that you learn to use the shift keys properly. Hold down the shift key while keying the alphabet key.

43 I Do caps lock, question mark, apostrophe, hyphen, and quotation mark I will model and demonstrate how to key the caps lock with the left pinky. I will model and demonstrate how to key the question mark with the right pinky and left shift. I will model how to key the apostrophe with the right pinky and the quotation mark by holding down the left shift and keying the apostrophe. I will reach up to the top row with the right pinky to key the hyphen.
