3 Five Little Turkeys 5 little turkeys by the barn door (hold up open hand) 1 saw some corn and then there were 4 (fold down one finger) 4 little turkeys flew up a tree (fly 4 fingers into the air) 1 fell down and then there were 3 (one finger falls to the ground) 3 little turkeys gobbled as they do (hold up 3 fingers) A dog chased 1 and then there were 2 (left hand chases 1 finger on right hand) 2 little turkeys strutting in the sun (hold up 2 fingers) The wind came along and then there was 1 (make wind movement with left hand) 1 little turkey began to run (1 finger runs) For he saw the farmer and now there are none. (left hand grabs right hand) The Turkey A turkey I saw on thanksgiving, Her tail was spread so wide. Shhh...don't tell that you've seen her, For she's running away to hide (make fist for turkey & spread fingers of other hand for tail, Make a shhh sound) Turkey Feathers (Sung to: "Are you Sleeping?") Turkey feathers, turkey feathers Brightly colored, brightly colored Who has a red one? Who has a red one? Add it now. Add it now. Little Pilgrim The children hold up one finger for each added pilgrim, beginning with a closed fist. Pilgrim, pilgrim, run and play, Where do you want to play today? The first little pilgrim slides down the slide, He just wants to play outside. The second little pilgrim reads books all day, she finds a quiet place to stay. The third little pilgrim climbs in a tree, she thinks it's a neat place to be. The fourth little pilgrim plays hide and seek, and he soon learns that he mustn't peek. The fifth little pilgrim just plays with his friends, they laugh and play until the day ends.
