1 Dear Auditioners, Thank you so much for auditioning for Ovation Theatre s/ncsa production of Guys and Dolls! We had such a great turnout of wonderful singers/actors for this audition, and we look forward to Sunday s callback to get a better idea of specific placements in the cast. The complete callback list is printed below. Please make sure you read carefully the times and requirements for the callbacks. Not everyone who auditioned will be on these lists. CALLBACK INFORMATION Sunday, December 13th ~ 10:30am-4:00pm Dance Callbacks ~ 10:30am - 12:00pm (not everyone is called back for this. We will be doing additional dance assessments during choreography rehearsals.) Acting/Singing Callbacks ~ 12:00pm - 4:00pm (Village Park Rec. #2 on 2080 Mountain Vista Dr. Encinitas) ~ Please print out your assigned excerpt(s)and bring it/them to the callback on Sunday afternoon. We will have limited dialogue/music resources at callbacks. ~ DO NOT spend your time committing these excerpts to memory! We are looking for thoughtful approaches and acting choices to the material provided. We are NOT looking for any kind of memory work and we don't want to/will not spend callback time prompting from the excerpts. :-) Please arrive 15 minutes before each callback. We will not wait for latecomers.

2 Please note: If you are not called back on Sunday, it does not necessarily mean that you will not be in our cast of Guys and Dolls. It means one of two things: 1.) We don t need to hear any additional material from you for casting of the show, but you still will be in our cast. 2.) We are unable to cast you in Guys and Dolls at this time. IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT CALLBACKS Aside from a few exceptions, this callback is to explore many different possibilities within our emerging cast. (There are some characters, not on this callback list, which will be determined after Sunday s callbacks.) There is a chance that, of the few excerpts you may be asked to become familiar with, we will only ask you to sing/act one of the excerpts. The callback list is linked below.
