1 Volume 4, Issue 02 October 3, 2016 We would like to recognize our first graders by honoring them for doing well academically, demonstrating good citizenship, and having excellent conduct in the classroom. The following students have been selected by our first grade teachers as outstanding students. They have earned the right to have lunch with the principal. Lunch will be provided for these students on Wednesday, October 19, We are extremely proud of the following students and their accomplishments: Congratulations to all of our students who were selected to have lunch with the principal. We are proud of their accomplishments. Parents, thank you so much for your support and encouragement. Padres muchas gracias por su apoyo y ánimo. Nos gustaría reconocer a nuestros estudiantes de primer grado por su desempeño académico, demostrando buen comportamiento y tener excelente conducta en el salón. Los siguientes estudiantes han sido seleccionados por los maestros de primer grado como estudiantes sobresalientes. Ellos se han ganado el derecho de comer con la. directora. 3 Cristian Virgen Franco-Lara Andrea Reyes Jacobs Cristian Virgen really deserves to have lunch with the Principal because of his academic commitment, collaborative spirit and excellent citizenship skills. Cristian is ready to work and always asks for more. He always does his homework neatly and well done. His smile expresses his great motivation in learning. Cristian, you are an outstanding student. Way to go Cristian! Cristian Virgen merece realmente tener un almuerzo con la Directora por su compromiso académico, su espíritu colaborador y sus excelentes cualidades ciudadanas. Cristian está siempre listo para trabajar apenas llega al salón. El siempre hace su trabajo organizado y bien hecho. Su sonrisa expresa su gran motivación en el aprendizaje. Cristian, eres un estudiante sobresaliente. Así se hace Cristian! The student I chose to have lunch with the principal is Andrea Reyes. Andrea is hard working and always does her best, which shows in her work. She is always the first person to raise her hand to answer the questions. Andrea is respectful and has awesome manners. She is always ready and willing to help others when the time comes. Andrea sets a great example for her peers. The other students in the class look up to her. Taylor Orphehy Reece The person I have chosen is Taylor Orphey. Taylor is an amazing student. She is very motivated and driven. She has a wonderful personality as well as a caring disposition. She strives to complete all assignments and does her best in every area. She is a friend to all and a helper to me as well. I am very happy to have the opportunity to teach this student.

4 Alexa Jauregui Fuentes Juliete Pina Arzapala Samantha Olmedo-Mathias is a very polite student. She always tries to make her best effort in everything she does. Samantha is a good friend to everyone. She is a wonderful student to have in class and her conduct is excellent. Samantha is kind and a leader. She is proactive and always ahead of the game. You rock Samantha! Samantha Olmedo-Mathias es una estudiante muy educada. Ella siempre pone su mejor esfuerzo en todo lo que hace. Samanta es una buena amiga para todos en la clase. Ella siempre trata de ayudar en todo lo que ella pueda. Ella es una maravilla tenerla como estudiante y su conducta es excelente. Samantha es una líder. Ella es proactiva y siempre es de las primeras en estar lista. Felicidades Samantha! Jizel Eguiliz Bratton Jizel is very smart, well behaved and a model citizen. She gets along well with her classmates and is always very helpful. She loves to read and write and her work is always impeccable. So far, she s managed to make all A s in all subjects. I look forward to having a great year with Jizel. Juliete is a smart student who grasps all knowledge very easily. She is timid and quiet all the time. She has nice legible handwriting and likes to be organized. Juliete is on guard and ready to help her classmates when they need assistance. She motivates her teammates to complete their work and stay focused. I am pleased to reward Juliete Piña to have lunch with the principal! Juliete es una estudiante inteligente que capta todo el conocimiento con mucha facilidad. Ella es tímida y tranquila todo el tiempo. Ella tiene letra legible y le gusta ser organizada. Juliete está lista para ayudar a sus compañeros de clase cuando necesitan ayuda. Ella motiva a sus compañeros de equipo para completar su trabajo y mantenerse enfocados. Me complace premiar Juliete Piña a almorzar con la directora! Jorge Garza Findley Jorge Garza deserves to eat lunch with the principal! He is an extraordinary student and role model for our class. He continuously receives excellent conduct for being well behaved and setting a good example. His grades are outstanding because he is driven to do his best! Jorge is also a great team player. He is willing to help other students, when necessary, and he always has a positive attitude! Jorge is an outstanding Cornelius Cougar!
