17 Projector Plcement 17 You cn plce the projector on lmost ny flt surfce to project n imge. You cn lso instll the projector in ceiling mount if you nt to use it in fixed loction. An optionl ceiling mount is required hen suspending the projector from ceiling. Note the folloing points hen selecting projector loction: Plce the projector on sturdy, level surfce or instll it using comptible mount. Leve plenty of spce round nd under the projector for ventiltion, nd do not plce it on top of or next to nything tht could block the vents. Position the projector ithin rech of grounded electricl outlet or extension cord. Plce the projector prllel to the screen. If Donloded from.vndenborre.be Wrning you cnnot instll the projector prllel to the screen, correct keystone distortion using the projector controls. You must instll ceiling mount hen suspending the projector from ceiling. If you do not instll the projector correctly, it could fll nd cuse dmge or injury. Do not use dhesives on the ceiling mount fixing points to prevent the scres from loosening, or use lubricnts, oils, or similr substnces on the projector; the projector cse my crck cusing it to fll from its ceiling mount. This could cuse serious injury to nyone under the ceiling mount nd could dmge the projector. Do not cover the projector's ir intke or ir exhust vents. If the vents re covered, the internl temperture could rise nd cuse fire. Do not instll the projector on n unstble surfce or in loction beyond the eight specifictions of the projector. Otherise, it could fll or topple cusing n ccident nd injury. When instlling the projector in high position, tke mesures to prevent flling by using ires to ensure sfety in n emergency, such s n erthquke, nd to prevent ccidents. If it is not instlled correctly, it could fll cusing n ccident nd injury. Attention Do not operte the projector on its side. This my cuse the projector to mlfunction. 31 Turning On the Projector 31 Wrning Never look into the projector lens hen the lmp is on. This cn dmge your eyes nd is especilly dngerous for children. When turning on the projector t distnce using the remote control, mke sure there is no one looking into the lens. During projection, do not block the light from the projector ith book or other objects. If the light from the projector is blocked, the re on hich the light shines becomes hot hich could cuse it to melt, burn, or strt fire. Also, the lens my get hot due to the reflected light hich could cuse the projector to mlfunction. To stop projection, use the A/V Mute function, or turn off the projector. A mercury lmp ith high internl pressure is used s the projector's light source. If the lmp is subjected to vibrtions or shocks, or if it is used for n overly extended length of time, the lmp my brek or it my not turn on.
